Keeway superlight headlight and main beam not working.

Hi, I am new to the forum and would like some help. I have just purchased a keeway superlight 125. I have never owned a bike before. I am struggling to get the headlight and main beam to work. The side light/ parking light works, indicators work and the tail lights. I have changed the bulb using 2 ba20d xenon bulbs which fit perfectly but still no luck. I have no idea where the fuse box is on these bikes as my next step was to check the fuse. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi, the light did not work before swapping the bulb. I only just bought the bike and in all honesty did not check the light. I purchased 2 new xenon bulbs and tried them both with no luck so I'm thinking it could be a wiring issue or a fuse blown. The bike is a 2018 model. Only done 2100 Kms and we'll looked after. I wouldn't have thought I'd have electrical issues this early 🤔

Unfortunately the bikes don't have a great reliability reputation, a quick Google says fuse box lives under the seat.

Start with the fuse, if you have live in and out of fuse and fuse is ok your going to have to start tracing wires, it may be the live is ok but the negative feed is gone.

Start with obvious first ie fuse, then look at switch ie test it for a feed in and out.

Next up headlight relay.

Hi, thank you guys for your help. It was a private seller and he seemed honest. I messaged him earlier and he stated that the only known issue was the fuel guage not working which I was aware of. Thank you for telling me of the fuse box location. Any idea what fuse and how I get there. Sorry to be a pain but when I said I'm new to bikes I mean brand spanking new.

No idea but have a look, if it's a blown fuse you will be able to see the blown bit

Have a Google for a manual and I think halfords do a generic Chinese one.
