Mr Fro Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Have you got much space between the tyre and mudguard/frame? Quote

Dazzo92 Posted March 31, 2021 Author Posted March 31, 2021 I have a powerbronze tyre hugger on the back.... Also if tyres are getting changed I would be changing the chain and sprocket too Quote

Mississippi Bullfrog Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 Wider tyres will give you less grip in wet weather. More surface area to weight ratio. 2 Quote

You may need to notify your insurers as this is definitely a modification on a safety item. Quote

Lumor_uk Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 (edited) I looked into this when I had 125s for many years, just buy premium tyres of the right size. They'll give you a lot more confidence. Edited April 3, 2021 by Lumor_uk Quote
