Can you put a k4 gsxr 600 rear shock into a sv650 gen 1?

It will fit but is 5mm shorter

 

I'm sure a spacer could be made

It read it that the one from the SV is a lot stiffer.

I mean, the one from the GXSR will be too soft.

But then thats all to do with rider weights etc so it may well work for him anyway

Aren't we all? Nobody wants a right rear shock... unless it's the left giving it.
