I am curious, with electric having all the torque, can they hold a decent speed up hill?
I see things like this:

https://urbanebikes.com/collections/electric-motorbikes/products/tc-max-62mph-deposit

And think that could work, but is the 58mph top speed for a year old midget down hill with the wind behind him?

Or is it electronically limited and will climb minor mountains at 58mph with a average biker on top?

The tech and costs might not be there yet, however I could see something similar as my first electric bike…

Haven't a clue but I wonder if you could get a test ride and try it :D

I would do but if I went into a shop round here and asked about a modern environmentally friendly ride.

I am likely to get handed a horse....

Or one of those modern pedal cycles..

Not the electric ones they contain witch craft, that is far too new for the folk round these parts.

So the two recent events mentioned were not even electric bikes! 🤦

I live in the city and the amount of Sur On electric bikes seen going round here well in excess of the speed limit is crazy.

In the forest they are just going to ignore any ban anyway.

The legal bike's are not that fast.
