onesea Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 (edited) I am curious, with electric having all the torque, can they hold a decent speed up hill? I see things like this: https://urbanebikes.com/collections/electric-motorbikes/products/tc-max-62mph-deposit And think that could work, but is the 58mph top speed for a year old midget down hill with the wind behind him?  Or is it electronically limited and will climb minor mountains at 58mph with a average biker on top?  The tech and costs might not be there yet, however I could see something similar as my first electric bike…  Edited June 19, 2022 by onesea Quote

bud Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 So the two recent events mentioned were not even electric bikes! I live in the city and the amount of Sur On electric bikes seen going round here well in excess of the speed limit is crazy. In the forest they are just going to ignore any ban anyway. The legal bike's are not that fast. Quote
