It greatly depends on too many factors for anyone sensible being able to advice.

 

Things to consider are (not limited to)

type of license; what use you will be making of it; budget; cost of insurance.

 

If you give a few more details about what you like and the ones above, maybe we can give you a hand.

Keep in mind that it is always a personal choice regarding the style of bike you like the most.

Sounds daft but as first bike, something that you can drop. We all do it .

 

Something you like the look of has good service history.  Engine size can be variable with style of bike  My TDM900 is a Pussycat compared with the Fazer 600 I started on.

 

Think what you think you will use it for? Shopping/ touring (paniers/ top box), all weather (fairings), summer rides (naked), also consider weight and width particularly if using round town.
