fifthwheel Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 As a Yorkie I remember Yorkshire Pudding and gravy was always served first on its own as a filler I suppose. My Mums Yorkies were the best but Delia Smith has a great recipe. She is not from Yorkshire but a great cook all the same. Happy new year everybody. 5 Quote

Never tried Delia's: INGREDIENTS 175g plain flour 2 large eggs 175ml semi-skimmed milk 110ml water 80g beef dripping or 4 tablespoons flavourless oil Always used Jamie's Toad in the whole l hole recipe: BATTER 285 ml milk 115 g plain flour 3 large free-range eggs Interesting the differences between the recipes. Main reason I stuck with Jamie was the day I learned I could stick all the ingredients in magimix push button and get consistently good Yorkys. 1 Quote
Tiggie Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Jamie's recipe looks the same as what my mum taught me. Only difference is I've no idea what the measurements are I just add flour and milk until the consistency seems right 1 1 Quote
