My rpm goes higher than my speed increases

I have not long bought a factory Honda cb125r and for the past two days any time I’m in third gear if I open the throttle my rpm goes max but the speed doesn’t increase is there anyone who might have an idea as too what’s up with the bike

Check the tension on the clutch cable when clutch is out it should just be slack

I had a similar problem with me shadow when I bought it and found out the engine oil was the wrong spec/quality.

 

Try some seafoam and see if it works better.

Cheaper than a new clutch  

Unless your clutch works on the dry..
