Brown pants moment for this guy (see poor quality photos), not really sure how he didn't see two trams crossing in front of him till the last minute, but probably gave him a bit of a wake up.  I felt sorry for him, really embarrassing thing to happen with hoards of other bikers looking on.  I had a near miss myself yesterday on the bend in the photo below.  Heading towards Ramsey on the coast road, bike coming in the opposite direction overcooked the corner and ended up on my side of the road.  We both got a bit of fright to say the least.  My missus won't go on the back anymore during TT now,  we avoided a head on with literally a couple of inches to spare.

Sadly there are a lot that go to the TT and leave their brain at home and think its their private race track, it was one of the reasons I liked the Manx gp it is a lot more chilled and the plus is a bigger mix of bikes from all ages not just sportsbikes. Im keeping in touch though this year listening to practice each day on the radio. Looks like the weather is going to be great this week.

Sadly you're right.  A lot of people go out and try to emulate the professionals, sadly, they tend to run out of talent pretty quickly on some of these roads, as your man last night nearly found out.  I also love the GP, as you say, better mix of bikes and riders.  Thus far, the week has been going well, and there's been some blistering times set during practice sessions.  Forthcoming races should be really interesting, just hope the weather stays kind 👍
