Personally, a ukulele is like a soft version of a bagpipes. Nice to hear when you're 10 miles away but hell no close to you 😬😬

Indeed, Bagpipes sound lovely from across water.  If the bugger's playing pibroch preferably the Atlantic.

Maybe he's referring to a ukulele 🫤

Which by the way was invented by the Portuguese sailors as it is much smaller than the normal acoustic guitar and easier to carry on a sailing boat.

For some strange reason people in Hawaii loved it and use them a lot 🙂

I'm taking all this in you know.

I would like to know if I'm missing out on something, or more likely doing something daft !

Thanks for all your answers.

You’re only missing out if you fail to bite the bullet and JFDI.

No tour is perfect, not everything will be 100%. Things go wrong - they’re the incidents that make for the most interesting and humorous tales (with hindsight). Particularly the daft things.

Does it work ?   Doesn't look very rock&roll to me ?  or even country and western ?

But....to each his own !

It works, but mainly in the same sense as a sports convertible advertises small penis size. Their primary function isn’t gigs, it’s to be used by obnoxious trustafarians on global tours to annoy everyone else on the Trailfinders lorry heading from Quito to Iguazu Falls.
