Hi, I am new to this so here goes, I am currently trying to save the CM 250T which stood for 40yrs in a damp garage. I have stripped it down and am now rebuilding, I have a triangular mounting plate with a dogleg in it and for the life of me can't remember where it goes. Can anyone enlighten me. Regards Mal

Hi there welcome to the forum as westerley said a photo would help but if you cant upload a photo have a look on this website, input your model and then study the diagrams to find where the part goes.  Honda Motorcycle Parts, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha Motorcycle Parts - ATV, Classic Bike, Dirt Bike Parts (cmsnl.com)

I took it off and I have seen it in a set of engine brackets advertised on Ebay. The schematic shown on the cmsl site looks to show it in the area around the clutch cover but is inconclusive.

My first thought was also exhaust bracket.

What about Footrest/gear lever bracket?

I'm only guessing, but one of the holes looks worn, and suggests a moving part?

Maybe a kickstand bracket?

All guesses, of course.

Never be sorry to ask. If you don't know, you don't know.
