Allanmania Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 Have my MOD2 tomorrow. Get some training beforehand. I have clocked up 4000 miles over 2 years on the 125 but still feeling a bit worried about observations and positioning. Will let you know how it goes 5 Quote
bonio Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 Just treat it as a ride out and try to enjoy it. If something goes wrong stay calm and carry on as if it's no big deal. And best of luck 1 1 Quote

RideWithStyles Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 As the others said. Good to get a refresher beforehand just incase any bad habits (that fail a test) is scrubbed out. just remember your checks before setting off anywhere and while on the road, lifesavers, road positions, and just being safe even when muppets are about, that’s the most important part that is drilled into you and what they want to see of you. good luck. 1 Quote

Allanmania Posted September 19, 2024 Author Posted September 19, 2024 (edited) Just back from the MOD2 test which I stupidly FAILED . I can make excuses but just me not paying the proper attention. I got asked to pull to the side which you do a few times on the test. And then asked to move away. Which I did fine. But for some idiot reason I seen the 40mph in front of me and sped up forgetting I was still in a 20mph serious fault. Later, and again I know am making excuses but missed a junction. Not familiar with the are, Was not very clearly marked on the road and if the examiner had said left or right I woulda noticed it but as he said straight on I just went across without observations Dangerous fault. Apart from that 2 minors retest booked 9th October If at first you don’t succeed ….. Edited September 19, 2024 by Allanmania 1 2 Quote
