jamo Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Just bought a new pair of Spada Force IIs. Theyre nice, but theyre so stiff they make my thumb ache and throttle control is a nightmare. How do i thin them out and soften them up quickly? Quote
Korben Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Ride with them on... Alot...Best way really.... Then it will soften to the shape of your hand. Quote
Guest Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 There used to be a trick for this with old army boots Piss in them and leave overnightits up to you failing that get some dubbin or similar and as korben says use them or get some heated grips and place on full heat as mine have a tendency to try and turn to jelly like with that on lol Quote
stelmer Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I wet mine using the shower then keep them on for an hour or so, using your hands normally. Or go out for a ride.Softens the leather up and by keeping them on, they do not shrink. Quote
bigsisterbiker Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 that's my brothers' tried and tested method for gloves and leathers. except he goes riding in the rain to get wet instead of using the shower Quote
