  1. Leathers in the cold! thats a no from me! leathers have too many perforations in to keep you cool in summer than in the winter you are just asking for it!

Textiles all the way in the cold with plenty of layers and the heated seat and grips on

  2. Yes! Happy birthday to the forum!

    That's a lot of years!

I remember the days leading up to setting it up and spending loads of time researching how to get it all going and off the ground! It was then a case of taking the plunge and just winging it! And here we are still winging it today 😂😂

Massive thanks to everyone over the years past and present who has made it what it is today :thumb:

You did well then. but there are different types of cheap. aren't there.

Amazon usually has reviews that you can read. They also have a no quibble returns policy.

My main beef isn't with stuff available on Amazon, they have to operate under UK law - which offers a lot of safeguards.

It's these Chinese websites that sell cheap knock-offs. copies. counterfeits. however you want to describe them.

Sites like Aliexpress and its ilk. I would also avoid eBay sellers based in china too.

YT is crammed with examples of these types of knockoffs. with direct comparisons with the originals. and they tend to have one thing in common.

It was cheap Chinese that took 3 weeks to arrive and cost next to nothing cheap! :?

  4. Do you have a way to store water somewhere?

Could you use a water butt? You could even plumb it in to the drain pipes and use rainwater if you would be allowed to

A lot of jet washers will run off a water butt

A jet wash won't hurt a bike either despite what the others claim
