  1. sounds like you have a short somewhere a trapped wire on the starter relay or something have a good look around where you have been working
  2. i dropped mine against the side of vicki's house the first time i met her
  3. Don't even use soap! It's full of salt Get on ebay or amazon and order a few tins of chain cleaner its delivered to your door so you don't have to go to shops for it
  4. Don't forget the master cylinder too no point doing the calipers if you don't have enough fluid going to them
  5. Happy birthday sue have a good day
  6. no money but a big arse lens
  7. bloody hell that new lens is good for your camera didnt think you would get that shot from home! ps have fun
  8. i cant wait to see the finished bike do you fancy doing a guide in the "Guides, Manuals, & Riding Advice" section on how to spray panels as it gets asked a bit and by the looks of things you know what your on about
  9. take a look at your wiring in the junction box make a note of all the wires and where they go and what they are for soon figure it out
  10. also is it a 2 channel or 1 channel is it just a room stat or a room stat and programmer for the hot water too
  11. never go by the colours on central heating/hot water systems as some colours are used for other things a stat only ever requires a live feed and the other wires go back to the junction box and tell it to turn on or off the Neutral and Earth wont be Neutral or Earth they are just colours
  12. live to live which is obviously A and you should only need one of the other wires conected to B which one conects to B is a guessing game without a look at the junction box at the other end
  13. two lines are easier to bleed for a start theres no real noticeable difference to be honest you loose the splitter if it has one saving a little weight
  14. Happy birthday have a good day

like i say the optimate only puts charge in when it needs it and its not a constant trikle im sure they only charge for 30 mins too then test a battery to see if it holds the charge before attempting another 30 min charge
  18. i really doubt its the starter fozzie i would try and make it do it again then attach some jump leads to the battery from a car not running though and hit the starter if it turns over and starts i would put money on the battery
  19. first met...was a fair few people a fair few years ago at brid techno, DG errr i forgot who was there it was that long ago!! like to meet..anyone really, but love meeting up with vicki keith roy techno sue and ian for our usual gatherings last met ...whoever came to the rally want to meet..anyone!! im not fussy
  20. baby wipes or hot soapy water then treat with a leather feed once or twice a year
  21. maybe you left it on an optimate..... your battery night be taking a charge but not holding enough so that the 10 seconds of wait and the drain from the headlight might just be enough to stop it starting battery could have dropped a cell or two

Hmmm honestly see it at all because as you know the optimate only puts charge in when the battery needs it so won't over charge it or cause it to boil
