  4. well now you mention it!!! so do i and i didnt put it for the fear of been slated it makes no odds what toold you use as long as the chain is secure
  5. spend the 30 - 50 quid on new tools for the service ps well done for tackling it on your own once you have done around 1000 miles with the chain check tension and the link just for peace of mind im sure you wont have any problems though and dont forget to keep it lubed atleast every 500 miles max
  6. first of all post in the right section "pitstop" remove it and check for any signs of wear if its worn excessively then you may need to replace the lever and bolt

    Front Fairing

Check to see if it has a front subframe holding it all on the bike it may have come loose Look on the headstock between the forks
  9. As long as the rivett is mushroomed it will be fine
  10. so how did it go did you learn anything? any pics?
  11. The back brake might hold the bike still! Depends how tight the nut is Buy a cheap electric impact gun about 25 quid from machine mart you will be surprised at how much you use it Yes leave the old chain on to loosen the front
  12. Leave the grease on! And just lube it up as and when required I would get an impact gun for that front sprocket it will make light work of it
  13. theres too many people at this now and no protection for sellers i got stung for £25 not a lot but its not the point

  16. yes an angle grinder!! it makes light work of things like this just make sure you cut the chain and nothing else
  17. a chain cutting tool just use an angle grinder to get the old chain off!! you wont find a place to split it as all the links are riveted and all look the same you don't use split links by the way as they come off and thats the last thing you want i hope that chain tool rivets chains too?

  19. I know of a better one have a look in guides and manuals
  20. No your not the only one to be made feel like it mate I have been too only by one rider on here though which pissed me off so I ended up flying off on one and left them standing just to shut them up! The point I made to them afterwards was you don't always have to be riding like a prick at the front of a ride with everyone else I've never ridden with you so have never passed comment on your ridding and never will pass comment on your riding when I do get to ride with you mate I don't know why people feel the need to judge others riding at the end of the day its not a race
