  1. Its not a case of leverage to the get the bolt out that goes thu the pads. i dont think i used the right word. its like a long thin cylinder shape that goes thru the 2 holes at the top of the pad. Think ill jus av to wd40 its ass and hope for the best.

i know exactly what you mean with the pin like i say attach it to the bike so you can get leaverage on it

its easier to get out while its on the bike then on the floor or in your hand and less chance of damaging it :)

yes an exhaust can be welded if you have something to weld to you will probably find that around the area is really thin :?

  2. sounds like you still have air in the caliper as the fluid will push it out

fluid is better then air :)

    as for the rear caliper

stick it in a bag and spray loads of WD40 in there and leave overnight you will need to replace the brake pads if that doesnt work try giving the area a tap not too hard as its cast and can crack to get the bolt out attach it back to the bike to get some leaverage on it :)

  3. main wire goes where that bolt is

hmmm brake cleaner :? "might" be ok for cleaning it out personally i wouldnt as its a very strong solvent

    WD40 would be fine

my starter on my 4X4 makes some strange sounds and sticks after a good offroading session a good jetwash and WD40 sorts that out :)

  4. you dont need to take the loom to bits you could do it keeping the loom intact

you would have to buy new connectors for the bulbs some bigger wiring and a couple of relays

take the feed from the oe plug using a suitable spade connector to the relay simple :D

  5. moved to pitstop

if your really concerned about burning the loom out then install a relay with thicker wiring and use the oe wiring to work the relay :)

there will be a little give in the wiring but the fuse is the first thing to go thats what its there for

  6. you can get proper exhaust paint in a sray from halfrauds and i think their BBQ paint is even better and tougher :)

you will need a heat resistant paint for the engine too so if hamarite do one it should be fine :)

  7. exhausts can get hotter then 700 degress though

i have used the exhaust paint and it can be good if you do it right

give the pipes a right good clean the spray them and heat the paint by fitting to bike and running it read the tin on how to do it exactly :)

the only thing is it wont last forever and will probably need doing again in about a year but still worth it as it will keep must of the road salt away from the metal and stop a lot of corrosion :)
