  1. its a 2007 model bike it should go straight in to gear!!!! has it been dropped before? is the gear linkage bent ?
  2. you should have 2-5mm of play at the end of the lever adjust it using the screw on the clutch lever so you only have a little play and try that
  3. how much free play is in the clutch lever ? i cant see it been the clutch though as it goes in to neutral ok!!!
  4. does it jump farward when you finally get it into gear ? is it hard to get in to neutral from a stand still? is the bike still under warrenty ?
  5. like SuzukiPete pete has said try a carb balance first before you comit to anything after that if your still not convinced get it on a dyno and see what the fueling is like dyno runs are around £25 -£35 and you usually get that back if you book your bike in for setting up
  6. i know nothing of that area infact i dont even know a decent tuner round here now as the last one sold up
  7. to be honest it can take the same amount of work as its all trial and error till its right a power commander can take anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours to set up depending on the bike last time i got a quote for a carbed bike it was £120 all in that was 5 years ago and a power commander was around the same price the trouble now is finding a decent tuner that can set carbs up
  8. waste of time it needs to go on a dyno otherwise its just guess work and it shouldnt cost more or not that much more anyway!!

my TL "had" something like this that opened up at 4000 rpm its safe to remove on the TL but not sure on the cbf600
  19. too loud!!! on an inline 4 never the most it will reach will be about 105db which isnt too bad if you are going to wrap anything in wadding though make sure its a loose fit as the tighter it is the louder it will be which could also be why your can is loud as it hasnt had chance to bed in and loosen up

you need an impact gun and it will whip it off with no effort can get an electric one for £20 from machine mart or halfords infact i think argos sell them too
  22. flush ones are crap they look crap and people cant see them very well get the mini stalk ones they will be brighter then the ones you already have too they are legal you will need spacers not sure on the wiring and you will need either a new flasher relay or resistors placed inline to slow the flash rate down
  23. some excellent pics there Korbs i cant wait to go to wales in 6 weeks time shame its not on the bike though!!
