    Single wire system?

i dont see what odds what wiring system you have as the two wires go to your battery red to + black to - unless you are taping in to the wiring so it only works with ignition on ??

    Starter Motor?

main wire goes where that bolt is hmmm brake cleaner "might" be ok for cleaning it out personally i wouldnt as its a very strong solvent WD40 would be fine my starter on my 4X4 makes some strange sounds and sticks after a good offroading session a good jetwash and WD40 sorts that out
  12. found this in my favorites must have been in there years a word of warning though due to the amount of camera locations this does run really slow http://spod.cx/speedcameras.shtml

    Starter Motor?

sounds like the starter is sticking carry a hammer to save your feet take it off see if you can strip it clean it up and a bit of grease otherwise its a new starter

  15. you dont need to take the loom to bits you could do it keeping the loom intact you would have to buy new connectors for the bulbs some bigger wiring and a couple of relays take the feed from the oe plug using a suitable spade connector to the relay simple
  16. moved to pitstop if your really concerned about burning the loom out then install a relay with thicker wiring and use the oe wiring to work the relay there will be a little give in the wiring but the fuse is the first thing to go thats what its there for

    Downpipes

you can get proper exhaust paint in a sray from halfrauds and i think their BBQ paint is even better and tougher you will need a heat resistant paint for the engine too so if hamarite do one it should be fine

    Downpipes

exhausts can get hotter then 700 degress though i have used the exhaust paint and it can be good if you do it right give the pipes a right good clean the spray them and heat the paint by fitting to bike and running it read the tin on how to do it exactly the only thing is it wont last forever and will probably need doing again in about a year but still worth it as it will keep must of the road salt away from the metal and stop a lot of corrosion
