  1. cant be bothered to go to all the trouble to register to have a read plus im working tomoz
  2. i know the feeling
  3. increased wear you shouldnt actually just rev an engine anyway even when warm as that increases wear as does leaving it just ticking over an engine is made for bearing a load and should do so when running
  4. quick search brings things like this up
  5. Yeah I have and its in my opinion warming the engine faster due to friction because the oil isn't doing its job properly! so if its not recomended why do manufacturers put it in their manuals ??? warming a bike up at 2k and riding at 2k is two different things ???
  6. all this start bike warm it up before riding is bollox it actually causes more harm then you think an engine is at its best when working to move the bike so starting then riding straight off is best just ride steady till it warms up havent any of you noticed how quick the bike actually warms up if you just start it and ride it straight away
  7. yeah just not out shit weather and got a lot on

    Soldering...

you can yes but what you have to think about is if you ever need to remove the indicators or undo the wiring for any reason you would have to cut the wire and re solder them
  14. whaaaahooooo my long weekend off night just for now
  15. hot water and wipe it off with a rag too never had any problems doing this i have been known to even pour boiling water on the tyre while i turn the wheel at the same time the heat isnt on long enough to damage the tyre but enough to remove the oil

    Any ideas.....

Argos........ £20 gets you a reversable electric impact gun which hooks up to your battery and is good enough for the job
  17. true , but lots of parts of a full engine build require gasket paste, such as gsxr crankcase halves yeah i know but a lot of people dont know how to apply it propperly they just think the more the better and usually its a proper sealant rather then just any old crap out of halfrauds im sure you will know where im coming from
  18. vicki has spare tents at the bank hol weekend it rained every night and that never spoilt the fun you will only be sleeping in your tent the rest of the day/night you will be indoors or under cover of some sort could try this place but i think there will be a limit on what time you stroll in its only 2.7 miles from vicki's http://www.wheresbest.co.uk/venue/65354 ... est-House/ bike would be safer at vicki's behind the locked drive gates
  19. leave bike at vicks i will have a quick search to see if there is anything closer i would just camp it will be ok
  20. its in walking distance if you are preppared to walk on dodgy back roads for about 5 miles short trip in taxi will see ya there

    speedo help

if it is electric then it should be on the front sprocket cover check to make sure its secure and also check that the connectores are clean and dry mine got water in before and was under reading then over reading then just stopped hope that helps
  22. get a propper gasket dont use paste/sealant as some can be squeesed inside the engine and break off into the oil and clog up oil filters and oil ways causing massive damage
