    Sticky rear brakes

hi Viv welcome to the forum pop into newbies and introduce yourself first of all what bike is it ? and you also say push the operating arm back and its OK again do you mean the brake pedal is sticking down ? and when you pull it up the brakes are releasing ?
  2. sorry i dissagree with that leather doesnt give that much and there is nothing worse then too tight or too loose if its too tight it can cut off circulation and cause more harm in a crash if its too loose it can cause more damage in a crash dont get one without trying it on and not on mail order or ebay you must try it on and get one that fits
  3. its best to lube ARTER every ride you lube after as the chain will be warm and the lube/oil gets in to where its needed if you have a scottoiler check to make sure its working properly they only work with the engine running and you want 1-2 drops per minute on to the chain the scottoiler will look after it if its working right and kept full of oil what i want to ask though is why has the previouse owner lubed the chain when it has a scottoiler
  4. you buy one that fits right you need to try them on

  14. you need a set of easy outs drill small hole in bolt and screw the easy out in a anti clockwise direction it will screw into the bolt and tighten up just keep turning and the bolt should come out they are a reverse thread by the way http://www.dansmc.com/easyout.jpg ps dont overtighten bolts in the first place

    Unbalanced Carbs?

carb balance only rally effects the slow running of the bike not at high revs it balances out the amount of air been sucked into each pot an eratic rev counter is a sign of out of balance carbs but my guess would be you need the bike setting up properly have you got a aftermarket exhaust on ? if so stick the origanal one on and see how it is
  16. personally i would change the plugs strip the carbs and give them a right good clean balance them up and see how it runs
  17. im after a new helmet other things are optional
