I think rear brake usage is very underrated

I have to be honest I never understand why some riders don't use the rear brake and make it sound like its a bad thing to use it or its not adequate enough to stop or slow a bike down There is plenty of situations where the rear brake is more than enough Not to mention when on an incline I find it so much easier to hold a bike from rolling using the rear brake than the front will its even easier now with hill hold quick squeeze of the front brake and it holds the rear brake on

Actually if you're using brakes you're doing it wrong

I have gotten really lazy with the rear brake since I got the BMW! and I don't know why I'm not sure if its the linked brakes are the fact that the front end doesn't dive when you brake! I now find I am making myself use the rear brake to re educate myself A fair few years ago I used to go out and just practice all the principles of riding like counter steering, Looking where you want to go, braking in bends , trail braking and avoiding obstacles oh and wheelies All in the aim to make it all second nature when riding

We both struggled this year! I ordered my own got it delivered opened them o check them and left them in the boxes in the hallway waiting to be wrapped I have seen them more in the past week than I will in 3 months once they are in the garage!
