  3. i close the throttle i have a twin seriously if i have to use brake its the back and thats it
  4. ive heard EBC are prone to warping not sure how true it is though whay not go for Galfer ? about £380 for front and rears with pads and they are top quality EBC's cheap pads green i think they call them are crap too soft with no feel and dont last long the HH are good though

  6. also check the exhaust bolts first to make sure they are tight you might have a few loose ones causing it to blow
  7. may aswell do them while your waiting easy enough to do but the race on the bottom of the stem can be a bugger to get off

    why---because its like buying a new engine and running great with no risk of going pop espeacilly when racing how---with lots of time and tools
  10. the lid isnt a new brand they have been on the go a while!! atleast 4 years i know someone who races in one as far as im aware they are good helmets

  13. increased wear you shouldnt actually just rev an engine anyway even when warm as that increases wear as does leaving it just ticking over an engine is made for bearing a load and should do so when running

  15. Yeah I have and its in my opinion warming the engine faster due to friction because the oil isn't doing its job properly! so if its not recomended why do manufacturers put it in their manuals ??? warming a bike up at 2k and riding at 2k is two different things ???
  16. all this start bike warm it up before riding is bollox it actually causes more harm then you think an engine is at its best when working to move the bike so starting then riding straight off is best just ride steady till it warms up havent any of you noticed how quick the bike actually warms up if you just start it and ride it straight away

    speedo healer will sort it but why not just go back to standard sprockets oh they are easy to fit and set up too
