is it a bit hard to get into neutral from first sometimes ? that is a sure sign of worn star drive they dont last very long on the TL and the SV uses the same part

quote off their site thought it was illegal for them to supply the certificate
-
yes we know

if its at certain revs it could be carbs out of balance but the vibrations wont be that bad but carbs out of balance effect the slow running of the bike more then anything else i dont think it will be the fairing but could be a wheel bearing thats on its way out or even valve clearances i wouldnt go to the machanic who gave you a quote of £150 for a carb balance sounds like he is trying to screw you out of money ps pop in newbies and intruduce yourself too
-
£150 for a carb balance £30 from all the local dealers round here i do mine myself they are easy how bad is this vibration ? does it only do it at 80mph or at a certain amount of revs ? try 80mph in different gears
-
they do that so they have to come across and turn the alarm off so you can have a sit on it and they stand and talk to you while doing so and try and get a sale crafty buggers they are
-
i have a datatool S4 and its a very good alarm never used any others but heard horror stories about some

my lid http://www.extremebikeqatar.com/osbeimages/file_21.jpg very good lids IMO had it two years and its been excellent once they passed all the usual tests they decided to shoot this lid with a shot gun from a distance of 1 metre it only marked the outer shell so if someone shoots me i will be fine but as i say OSBE in my opinion are very good i have been looking for a new lid and was just thinking of getting another one of these
-
the most common one is a baglux tank cover made by errr baglux they are for tank bags so you can just clip the tank bag to them really quickly
-
it could also be a worn star drive which the SV is prone to just like the TL and SV1000
-
another excellent day and full weekend Gallery set up for pics so do your worst
-
