jetting isnt touched when they restrict them could have just been like that before the restriction

you need a set of easy outs drill small hole in bolt and screw the easy out in a anti clockwise direction it will screw into the bolt and tighten up just keep turning and the bolt should come out they are a reverse thread by the way http://www.dansmc.com/easyout.jpg ps dont overtighten bolts in the first place

carb balance only rally effects the slow running of the bike not at high revs it balances out the amount of air been sucked into each pot an eratic rev counter is a sign of out of balance carbs but my guess would be you need the bike setting up properly have you got a aftermarket exhaust on ? if so stick the origanal one on and see how it is

personally i would change the plugs strip the carbs and give them a right good clean balance them up and see how it runs

excellent mark 97 is pretty good the 105 or 110 will be at the crank not rear wheel

2 strokes are easy to rebuild but whats the point if you can have a 4 stroke

i would have just hit it yeah best to release the brakes bike moves easier and less risk of loosing the front

remove the carbs and there is a washer in each inlet remove them and jobs a good un oh they also maybe a stop on the throttle to remove you should know by how far the throttle twists back

what type of riding ? fast road and weekend fun or cummuting ? i would gor for Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's for an all rounder
