i dont see what odds what wiring system you have as the two wires go to your battery red to + black to - unless you are taping in to the wiring so it only works with ignition on ??
-
main wire goes where that bolt is hmmm brake cleaner "might" be ok for cleaning it out personally i wouldnt as its a very strong solvent WD40 would be fine my starter on my 4X4 makes some strange sounds and sticks after a good offroading session a good jetwash and WD40 sorts that out
-
found this in my favorites must have been in there years a word of warning though due to the amount of camera locations this does run really slow http://spod.cx/speedcameras.shtml
-
sounds like the starter is sticking carry a hammer to save your feet take it off see if you can strip it clean it up and a bit of grease otherwise its a new starter
-
hmmm howden to driff some of my fave roads shame my bikes off the road (no tax) hope you have a good day craig and tomo will probs join ya

you dont need to take the loom to bits you could do it keeping the loom intact you would have to buy new connectors for the bulbs some bigger wiring and a couple of relays take the feed from the oe plug using a suitable spade connector to the relay simple
-
moved to pitstop if your really concerned about burning the loom out then install a relay with thicker wiring and use the oe wiring to work the relay there will be a little give in the wiring but the fuse is the first thing to go thats what its there for

exhausts can get hotter then 700 degress though i have used the exhaust paint and it can be good if you do it right give the pipes a right good clean the spray them and heat the paint by fitting to bike and running it read the tin on how to do it exactly the only thing is it wont last forever and will probably need doing again in about a year but still worth it as it will keep must of the road salt away from the metal and stop a lot of corrosion

Man these two play a great trick on your eyes... I though they were one picture and the track was really narrow!! korbs them two pics are the two corners before the mountain and in that order too the track is really narrow and them pics almost show the corners as they are -
any grease really copper grease would be better just dont get any on the shoes or drum
-
ah drums!!!! not really had much to do with drums but i would guess that a good strip and clean and grease moing parts will cure it

hi Viv welcome to the forum pop into newbies and introduce yourself first of all what bike is it ? and you also say push the operating arm back and its OK again do you mean the brake pedal is sticking down ? and when you pull it up the brakes are releasing ?
-
sorry i dissagree with that leather doesnt give that much and there is nothing worse then too tight or too loose if its too tight it can cut off circulation and cause more harm in a crash if its too loose it can cause more damage in a crash dont get one without trying it on and not on mail order or ebay you must try it on and get one that fits
-
its best to lube ARTER every ride you lube after as the chain will be warm and the lube/oil gets in to where its needed if you have a scottoiler check to make sure its working properly they only work with the engine running and you want 1-2 drops per minute on to the chain the scottoiler will look after it if its working right and kept full of oil what i want to ask though is why has the previouse owner lubed the chain when it has a scottoiler
-
you buy one that fits right you need to try them on
-
pi$$ off its cold no tax on bike mate and im working
