  1. It was a small barn, and the previous (upmarket twats) owners of the farm converted it to a snooker room, with an external, very well bolted door large enough to get a bike through. We have just filled it with junk, turns out it makes a very good garage though. The house is 17th century, the barn is similar age, but lots of old, non-original beams added. It's not that nice in there, apart from our junk, I need to address the collapsed ceiling and rain coming in.
  2. Wow, that was quite a day. You might not feel so positive, but you're one day closer to the fix!
  3. I put up a five shelf 1200mm X 600mm rack from Screwfix. Also found a £15 rug rail in the barn, the screw holes actually lined up with the holes on the rack. I now have somewhere to hang my gear. Although my gear is now hanging in front of everything, sliding it along the rail is no hardship.
  4. @leanneywanney Welcome to the forum Leanne. I'm following out of interest.
  5. Only 358 days to go. Start saving up, and book the week off work.
  6. Welcome to the forum @Olliee Can't add any advice to the above, because I'm ancient, and passed my test when the certificate was carved in stone. There are older people than me on here though, so you'll have to speak up......
  7. @wastedyears1981 Is it this kinda thing? Specific Triumph Tiger 800/800XC Tubular Side Case Holders - For Givi/Kappa Topcase | Motorcycle Parts | Wemoto UK
  8. Excellent start to the year @Angela Collen Despite the rain (maybe because of) it sounds like a great heartwarming walk.
  9. Good morning bikers and happy new year
  10. This is just great.... https://youtube.com/shorts/lJkGPFNHcX8?si=z2soJ74t2CXo1AKm
  11. Welcome back to biking @DannyD4vies91, it's obviously in yer blood.
  12. Hey @Hoggs, I think I speak for all of us when I say a huge thank you for the incredible time and effort you put in. Not to mention putting up with the bikers. I really want to get a few tags this year, especially as I enjoyed following the "goings on" last year without actually taking part. Cheers.
  13. Happy new year to you too @husoi Best of luck with the move Happy New Year bikers
  14. @Shepherd I wholly sympathise, I have a £50 J&S voucher, and it has to be used in store, but everything I see on their website that I actually want, they don't have in store. Going down there to use it towards summer boots.
  15. Good luck @Mawsley If you get really stuck, I know a good mechanic.
  16. Its been a while since I saw a sunrise whilst walking the dog. Caught this before the cloud stole it.
  17. Indeed, I didn't think they would leak. I think they're a good idea, but I was swayed by my mechanic, who'd ended 9 months of misery from my poorly running bike and leaking pressure from both wheels. I don't see why they would leak either
  18. Good morning bikers
  19. I bought a pair of those very same ones. My mechanic didn't want to fit them, he said something about centrifugal force making them leak. I brought them because I was always having to top up my tyres. It turned out to be corrosion where the valve was seated. Once sorted, I opted for the Bikeit indicating valve caps, they're brilliant, I haven't had to go near my valves for two months, as I can see at a glance. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/74242
  20. Ah right, I've been looking at the Lomo roll bag, but also the Oxford which is twice the price. I have a £50 J&S voucher, but I'm loathed to spend £79 on the Oxford bag from J&S, but don't know what else to buy
  21. Maybe you need a call back to sea.....
  22. Good work @Fozzie That's got to be a good end to the year.
