  1. I currently have my heart set on the Honda Crosstourer. AKA the VFR 1200 X. It has the sport bike V4 engine, but re-tuned to give adventure torque low down in the rev's. Take a look, it might be just up your street, or it might not
  2. Hi Josh, great to hear you're enjoying the bike. Welcome to the forum @CoastalCoasting
  3. Good to hear @Fozzie It'll be a nice evening for a ride too.
  4. It does look like you need to remove those panels and just repair the wiring, replace the seat lock, and give it a clean. Hopefully you can order new panels.
  5. When you get it back, put some pictures up so the damage can be seen. Welcome to the forum @Smc1791
  6. Good morning bikers
  7. FFS! Considering they're one of the biggest bike insurers......
  8. I didn't go out to buy a "Sports Tourer", I went to get our farm quad bike sorted, and came back with a £1500 Kawasaki.... (because it was cheap and I didn't have a bike). My mind wants me to ride a nutjob of a sports bike, my body wants a two wheeled sofa. Next bike will likely have to be an ADV style.
  9. @Mississippi Bullfrog That's feckin' horrendous.
  10. I'll look it up, but it's probably on the other side of the country from me... Edit : Yup, literally the other side of the country... The old stores, Pontblyddyn, Mold CH7 4HR
  11. Good morning bikers
  12. Best of luck @rennie

  14. What about using a local mechanic, as long as they use OEM parts and you get a stamp in the book, your warranty should be good. (?)
  15. That's pretty ingenious.
  16. We're struggling to book our flu jabs, there are barely any places local to us that do them, and those never seem to have appointments .
  17. Welcome to the forum @ballibeg
  18. That's a bit too "fresh".
  19. Good morning bikers
  20. You're likely to need new idle jets.... Mine was only sat for a little over a year, 3,000+ RPM was amazing, but low revs were awful until it had new idle jets. I'm not wishing it on you, but whilst the carb's are out and on the bench, you might as well .......
  21. Good idea, and impressive self control.
  22. Welcome to the forum @Tony B
  23. Did you spend a lot of money yesterday?
  24. Good morning bikers
  25. Yes! I bought my bike last winter, needed a jacket, and got a fantastic used Bering jacket with thermal lining for £50, as good as new.
