  4. By the way, welcome to the forum, stick around.......
  5. @Thunderoad Don't think there are any traffic officers on this forum. Don't think it's illegal, but you'd have to be a dick to travel between the cars and the cones. Between lanes of cars yes, but not down the outside of a lane closure, that's ignorant.
  6. Please tell me that's not my doing.... We've had it hammering down here all afternoon, I've been out sorting the electric fence, hay in paddocks, and clearing a blocked gutter. This morning though, I had the joy of sorting out a "backed-up" sewer, it was caused by weeds/roots in one of the chambers. Sorted and flowing nicely now, but it's still in my nostrils.....
  7. Crikey, I'll make a mental note to avoid those areas. I can't do hights, even the Dartford crossing has me gripping the bars for dear life.
  8. I'm sure it will, we're an hour south of you, if it comes near here, I'm sending it to Huntington
  9. Happy birthday, have a good day

  11. That's not important, you just need to part with the cash.
  12. Good morning bikers
  13. @Pie man What about a tank bag? I love mine, it's magnetic and easy to get on and off
  14. Not sure I could have managed that high pass, I would need to crawl across and have someone push my bike for me.
  15. They really are just so nice in there, very relaxed. I actually really fancy a R9T But I have absolutely no money to spend on a bike
  16. Yes, Reiten, they guy even said he'd take my ZZR in part exchange, but I reckon that would affect any future customer service
  17. Went out for an hour this morning, needed a bit of a blast, but I also wanted to make sure I'd started to take the shine off my new front pads. They're a little dull still, but another outing should see them biting nicely. I was going to go for a longer ride, but it took me 1/2 an hour to faff about pumping up the tyres and to fit the quilted linings back in my jacket and trousers
  18. Fitted another set of new pads, seemed a good idea after fitting new brake disks. I'm so familiar with my front brakes, that it took me just 40 minutes to remove both callipers, install new pads and shut the door behind me. Went out for a blap this morning to check they were OK, and they are

  20. I'd love to be surprised, I've spent months drooling over the used BMW's at our local.
  21. Her nice smile, of course....
  22. That's impressive @Grumpy Old Git, glad you're home safe. That GIF is mesmerising...
  23. Tube?? All you need is the right size tube and there shouldn't be any leaks, even with that rim damage.
  24. Hi @gary p lee, when say say "puncture", are you referring to objects such as screws stuck in the tyre, or is it just that the tyre is going flat? That damage to the rim looks only slight, it depends how far the damage goes into the middle of the rim. From the photo, it doesn't look like it could be the issue as the bead of the tyre that seals is further into the rim, but it's possible. Sorry to be vague. The guys fitting the tyre should have pointed out any significant damage that would cause a flat tyre.
  25. Good morning bikers
