  1. I also judge the price of said vehicle keeping into account I'll need to change oil / clean the carbs if I suspect it's been sat any length of time Many of these aspects don't apply to cars but something I'd keep in mind for bike buys
  2. I can't imagine they do. It's something I would consider then buying a bike and for me to address accordingly. Very similar to buying a car. I presume the dealer had lied about the "pre sale service" and drop the oil regardless. I'd suggest a quick check of the dip stick if you suspect fvckery. If they're claiming oil change etc I'm expecting a clean ISH wipe of the dip stick.
  3. I love a good coating cannot beat a nicely finished part and or collection of parts
  4. Holiday day to day. Woop. Adios
  5. Place near me would batter anything you brought them for 50p when I was a kid
  6. Did you take any faulty parts home? Was just wondering if some investigation could yield anything?
  7. They gave you a rental M3? Awesome
  8. The beast in question. To get it de-restricted without my dad knowing I rode it to a local engineers, took the exhaust off in the carpark, borrowed an angle grinder, chopped the offending section off and had them weld some tubing in place. I thought I was being clever, definitely not realising the bike would be loud AF and blatently obvious I'd been messing but my god did it feel fast at the time with my newly unleashed 55mph top speed.
  9. I actually did ride daily as a kid thinking back. Ringing the neck of a 50cc every waking moment of the day, roughly an hour each way to college.
  10. Some absolute warriors here To those who commute / ride daily. Do you have a car?
  11. I may have the odd ride should the sun show it's face, mainly to remain compotent but I'll not be bothering setting off during any rain.
  12. Very strange
  13. Does it have any tint? The UK are very strict with car window tints so I'd expect similar with visors. I'd imagine some jobs worth officer may have a grumble should they really wish to be a pain regardless if its clearly suitable (as judged by reasonable common sense) for night use.
  14. What an absolute clown show
  15. If I remember to buy a spud I'll try it on the car
  16. There's a brake lever still to be concluded AFAIK
  17. Cool update nice to see / read a thread go from broken to out and about again.
  18. Flap disc on a grinder and a hefty slopping of that goo stuff round the rim sorted it out.
  19. That would drive my brain absolutely crackers I had to recently get my tyre guy to clean the inner rim up on the car and re seat a tyre after a slow leak. Worked a treat
