  1. I never no what username to have so the past couple of years have been using my name and my year of birth combined depending on whats already taken on the website I'm trying to use. I wish i had one that was totally unique and unusual.
  2. I try and get out most weekends if the weather is decent enough for it. I'm sure i could travel further if there is a few meeting up as long as there is some advance notice.
  3. Would be tempted to attend this myself if i can get the time off work
  4. you mean a silly little square box that makes you look like a tw@t if you attach it to your helmet?? http://bikerlawblog.com/media/blogs/wind/goprohelmetcam4.jpg I actually seen someone last week and it was attached to the same place on there helmet. Id be concerned of it flying off.
  5. Not quite sure if these will fit without seeing your setup but these maybe worth a look? http://i.ebayimg.com/t/NEW-classic-car-battery-post-terminal-cover-pair-positive-negative-14mm-20mm-/00/s/MTE1OVgxMDMw/z/Md0AAMXQiNdRb8oA/$T2eC16ZHJGkFFm3NY)VRBRb8n+np!Q~~60_12.JPG http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-classic-c ... 27da148540
  6. I've watched quite few of this guys videos recently have laughed a few times of what he does and says. Tempted me to get my own camera and give it a try although id cringe at hearing my own voice.
  7. I've done a lot of silly things when drunk the usual thing is going near facebook or a mobile. Everything seems a good idea at the time until the morning Cant say I've really ever bought anything drunk though except another drink
  8. Makes me cringe to see pics of helmets all scratched up, but better than being your head. Its the main reason i would never consider an open face helmet, don't think id consider a flip up either.
  9. I have the Gsxr and a off-road YZ125. I would have more if i only had the space
  10. Have been looking at the drift HD since i heard baron von grumble mention in his videos, cant fault the playback quality of his video's on youtube. Shame it costs pretty much the same as the go pro. I think the shape of the go pro isn't ideal and i wouldn't just stick it on top of my head like you see sometimes.
  11. Cant say I've seen this happening around here, ill have to keep an eye out in the morning.
  12. Unfortunately I'm to far away. These things never seem to be local.
  13. I listen to the radio all the time just not when i'm on the bike, don't think id feel comfortable riding with another distraction going on to be honest i don't even like walking down the street with headphones in for the same reason.
  14. Looking forward to your first impressions of this, i can justify 60 odd quid for something that i will use now and again as i think a go pro is overkill for the occasional user especially at £300 for there top spec camera i wouldn't get the use from it.
  15. Yer it was an old single cab hilux, i thought it was diesel though? could be wrong.
  16. Not had any real experience with the Navara but have heard of reliability/build quality issues since they merged with Renault a few years ago. I've had quite a bit of experience with the Toyota hilux, don't no if you have considered these or looked into them? As with most vehicles like this they tend to bounce about a bit on the road due to having leaf springs on the rear and the back end can be twitchy at times. Also fuel consumption isn't great you'll probably be seeing around 25-30 mpg Personally id own a pickup in a heartbeat if i could justify the running costs. Only real way to tell is a test drive or maybe hire one for a week and see how you get on with it.
  17. Spotted this the other day, its crazy how there licenses have not been revoked a long time ago
  18. Good to hear that these are a worthwhile buy have been debating one for a while. Do you guys leave the yoke part in all the time even when your not using the nav?
  19. No way I'm terrified of heights, don't like tea much either.
