    Oil Top-up or Change

I use the guardian one on my bike. I've mixed oils before not done any harm? But i probably wouldn't know if it had. The oil filter shouldn't be screwed in anyway? It is just screwed in with itself relatively easy to get out, mine on the bandit is behind the downpipes. Just be careful when (if) you put the new one in you tighten it up by HAND, dont use a tool to tighten it as you might break it, also smear a little oil over the new filter before you put it on.

    Oil Top-up or Change

Could change your filter to while you're there if you want to practice it ^^ Though 1500 isn't to much use out of old one some people like to change it every time they change the oil. at £5 not a huge expense tbh... I would read your manual. my GSF i put in semi i believe. If you wnat a good drain pain, tool station sold me one for a couple quid that holds something like 20 litres.
  15. I am currently grinning ear to ear Love knowing my jokes are causing misery hahaha

If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ba-... Sorry i meant, If you can ride a bike you can drive a car Just remember there is less power and you can't fit through tiny gaps!
  17. Slightly off topic, but check out quidco car insurance comparison. I did a normal comparison came to £380. did one on quidco came to £220 with £20 cash back! Crazy eh.
  18. In america there is lots of crows dead on the side of the road, being not wasteful creatures the other crows eat the corpses, However there is always one lookout crow watching out for the others. Now while a crow can say "Cah-Cah" it can't say "truck"
  19. Prob best use a dry rag and maybe a little degreaser if its lubricant?

    Bike Problems

Well the good news is, the bike ran, so yeah i reckon battery is fooked. Worth asking dealer but they'll probably say do one if it's even a day after warranty. New batteries don't cost an arm and a leg and local garage may have one that fits. If not check online =)

    Bike Problems

Hmm, is the battery buggered? When you say it won't start does the engine turn over? or when you press the ignition is there just nothing? Waiting for this to get moved to "Pitstop" Also Giggity
  22. On nice days, i wear a pair of kevlar jeans (which have inserts for armour if i want them) and a leather jacket boots and gloves. Bear in mind that kevlar jeans are almost if not as heavy as any textiles would be. but you will look better if you get a good cut.
  23. Best cheap cleaner for a chain, is Paraffin, get 4-5 litres from B&Q (garden center) for £6. If you can remove your chain put it in a milk bottle pour some paraffin and shake it gently and repeat once and should be sparkling. I can't remove mine so i get a bristly brush and scrub it on then wipe it off with some rags and it shines.
  24. Darn, might be something to look at in a future bike, they sound nice. and the ability to carry a spare must be great for touring.
  25. Damn belts sound good for casual riders like myself Is it something you can modify a bike to use or is it a different type of bike altogether.
