  1. Ha, moany idiots I see more dangerous filtering than that on the A12 daily
  2. What the hell.. I did half a day training before my mod 1 and passed first time..? Where abouts are you located?
  3. I usually take a book and read through it in a night Or take my DS and play some zelda aww yiss.
  4. People...What bast*rds
  5. At the end of the day, training in a car park will prepare you for HOW to do the manouvers, it's one less thing to think about when taking the test as you'll be more used to them. Then it's just getting used to the bikes weight.
  6. Ugh number 2 big time.. I was an apprentice and i'm still only on jsut about minimum wage as a logistics analyst >.> My rant, People who walk SUPER f**king SLOW and spread out across the path.
  7. Found it, This is just my experience however, you may find it slightly different.
  8. As mentioned above, riding a bigger bike is a big difference. It was doubly hard in my case as it was the first time riding in like 4 months after my off and broken wrist, Was sore by the end of that day!!! Out of all the obstacles i found the swerve test hardest, as you have to do between 31-33 (ish) and dodge a cone about half a meter out, doesn't sound hard but it can be! U-turn is easy just crane your neck round and look where you want to stop you'll naturally go there. Also get used to manual handling can be quite tricky if the bike is heavy for you (don't know how strong you are?) but if you hold it right it should be a breeze! I think i wrote a basic guide on the Mod 1 here somewhere will try dig it out it might be of assistance =)
  9. He's funny bloke.. Bit annoying but provides humor and takes it to the edge, people are to thin skinned. If he goes, top gear is over and people will miss it, It'll probably just get re-made on a different channel "highest gear" or something ha
  10. Had a little go on that, neat little tool. Might change it to a rear 45 and keep front the same, see if i can notice a difference. =) Cheers Mr Fro some top advice today!
  11. Yeah, Well fun story, We tried to jump it frm the car, No good the cables could barely clip on, So tried to bump it down my busy road, got going pulled over ajdusted the choke rode back down the road, pulled into my drive and the engine cut out >.>.. so i took it out and charged it over night on my dads 30 odd year old charger, and it worked right as rain Going to keep an eye on it incase it's not charging because 10minutes of standby isn't very good for a battery..
  12. In relation to my subject about WHICH chain/sprocket to get viewtopic.php?f=32&t=56219&p=879849#p879849 What are peoples thoughts on amount of teeth? I do mostly cruising down the A12 daily on my bike and in 6th gear at 70 it's around 6kRPM and sounds like it needs to go up a gear. I hear that reducing the back teeth will make it cruise better but not entirely sure? And renthal goes form 13 - 18 teeth on the front (15 standard) and 45 - 47 (47 standard)
  13. There is a C word i'm refraining from using... C...c... .
  14. Quick look around both websites. http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcy ... prod/87143 or http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/suzuki/gsf_ ... ocket_kit/ Bit of a price difference at £50 between them. Will see which i want more come pay day
  15. Was looking into DID chains actually i have heard good things in the past. Will look into those sprockets to. Any preferred vendor? I tend to use Wemoto for parts.
  16. Might lower it a little be a bit more comfy. It's a right bugger to adjust where it is behind the plate haha!
  17. Me, for draining my battery while fixing my brake light... ffffffffffuck
  18. Might be worth practicing in a car park though mod 1 can be a bugger.. Only because the littlest things will make you fail. Go to a carpark of a supermarket sunday at 5pm when its empty. and do some figures of eight, u-turns, slaloms and swerving. You'll look insane but it helps to have some experience before you go at it. Also don't forget the simplest thing.. Shoulder checks before everything!
  19. I'm slowly changing everything on the bike so i know it's working and fairly new. Can anyone recomend a good set of sprockets and chain brand for my GSF bandit 600?
  20. Got it working again, although still needs more adjusting as it requires a bit of a push to turn on still.. So will try that tonight. Made a rookie error last night i left the electrics on as i adjusted so i could test the brake light... Battery died >.>
  21. Ah cheers guys, Haynes manual was very sketchy on the subject.. Will get on it later tonight =)
  22. Better get some burn cream on that..
  23. Mine had an excess of like £500 to, It's standard so they don't pay out the nose for it, CHeaper insurance for them with a higher excess.
  24. I don't wave i'm to busy hoping i don't fall off haha! But nah like most i just nod =) To all riders, except for the idiots not wearing anything bar a helmet (And their normal clothes..) And if i'm being annoyed a shake of my derriere ha
  25. It seems every week i'm on here with a new issue.. For some reason my brake light is playing silly buggers. Front brake works fine it turns on no problem. Now the rear brake i had to REALLY push down and it just about activated, So idecided to adjust the lever position see if that fixed anything and now the light won't turn on AT ALL. To me it seems like the switch is possibly fuckered but i have no idea what else to try. Anybody got any suggestions ?
