  1. My ice hockey team won 14 -7 last night. I was benched so doing the DJ'ing for the game. Wish I had been playing F*** it.
  2. Bugger looks like a lonely Saturday and Sunday then....
  3. Who is going? I plan to be there at least Saturday and Sunday, might work the Friday too if possible. Got Woodcote seat for Sunday, roving if I want it. Would be nice to catch up with some people finally off here. Also if anyone is going via Newbury either day, I'll be on the Thundercat rain or shine.

    Screen Bolts

Lol.....and so it begins..... Hah! First time I have really carried out changes to a bike, apart from having a top box fitted to my MZ RT125... and a garage did that for me. Once I've done these bits, I plan to source some HK fairings for about £300 to send down the road when I do trackdays....

    Screen Bolts

Cheers, nice to know it's not an essential to replace. Next up the new foot-pegs once I have this sorted!

    Screen Bolts

Was going to say, if they were plastic, I'd stick some metal ones in. Fortunately, I seem to have inherited a bike with black, metal screen bolts. Just what I need. Screen should arrive tomorrow or Tuesday....

    Screen Bolts

Got a double bubble screen coming and I've just taken out one of the existing screen bolts to check sizing. Do I actually need to replace these? I ask because my existing ones look fine, right colour, and are metal. If I should be replacing them, am I right in thinking the Thundercat takes a M5 bolt with 12mm head?
  8. Someone told me once that flip fronts are weaker than full face. I'm not even prepared to test that one out, but flip front can be a bit heavier than full face, so that's my reason for using full face.
  9. Fairly similar yeah. Looking to get a new screen next month for it. Solid black double bubble.
  10. All Time Low - Nothing Personal (album) Less Than Jake - See The Light (album) Limp Bizkit - Rollin'
  11. Wish I was making it but oh well next year Bruised my heel as well Tuesday, but might test the bike out later, see if I can actually use any sort of vehicle.

  13. Cleaned up beautifully. Great to see she was chuffed with you putting it to good use.
  14. Nob of the day is the arse at Eurosport who killed the feed at the start of the first Superbike race at Oulton today..... Nob!
  15. Have owned these boots since April. These are the waterproof version. Fitting is nice, they don't really rub when walking. Not a heavy boot, but feels sturdy enough that I can't see my foot parting company with my leg like with a pair of trainers Simple zip on inside and velcro flap over top to secure them, but don't let that fool you, these things feel like they aren't going to go anywhere. Nice feedback in my view from the pegs through the sole, not too thin or too thick. Can still walk around in them and not feel every stone as well. These are definitely waterproof, as I discovered on the 2nd May bank holiday when they survived 5 and 1/2 hours in heavy rain and spray on a motorway from Berkshire to Manchester. My waterproof jacket and gloves failed, the boots had a damp lining from the water running down my legs into them when I got off the bike. Other than that, no water made it through the boot. Also, no cold feet! I also have been using them still in the recent heat, and my feet are not roasting and getting sweaty so they do well in higher temps as well. Picked these up for just over £100 from local dealer, but they normally sell for about £130. Easily worth more in my eyes. Only fault is my little toe can rub on extended journeys. 9.5 / 10

  17. I'm hoping I can make it, but clearing up the mess with the house sale from the ex leaving is taking it's toll on my time and money. We will see in the next week or so.
  18. Went thorpe park yesterday. Forgot the suncream till the afternoon. Definite f*ck it!
  19. Looks like Velcro strap goes under seat, the 2 straps each side are double d ring straps. You the those to pillion foot holders (front) and ideally luggage hooks for the back pair. Those 4 straps help hold the thing down, but any secure point that won't break on the bike is where you want to strap them too.
  20. I'll have a look at the instructions in a bit. Think motorcycle news have a luggage fitting video so let me find that for you too.
  21. Not sure if anyone down here has a halfords card... Or if there is a forum member down here! Also wanting a double bubble screen. Any suggestions for where to get from?
  22. Landmine on base of right boot would solve it....
  23. Cheers cat I'll have a look at the halford stuff. Sadly as the wife has left, my spare cash has dropped massively per month, so paddock it will be rather than abba for now
  24. This the sort of thing you are after? http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcy ... rod/101368
  25. Defo need a stand, only a side one on the 'cat. Any in particular you recommend? Biketek seem cheap but I suspect there is a reason why....
