  1. Worth a look at Pipewerx as well. British made, well built and won't break the bank. Can't guarantee they do one that fits yours but they cover a lot of models.
  2. Share the code then as I am too lazy to look it up and I'm going to need a couple of bits off them soon.
  3. Aren't idle screws normally on the right? Possible the slide did something to that and it's knocked the idle level too low if your coolant is fine.
  4. Me for smashing a fridge shelf while trying to put it back together. Idiot.
  5. someone I used to work with cycled down the A34 near Oxford more or less daily. I imagine because that section of the a34 is so routinely screwed that it was quicker. Thank God I don't have to do that area anymore.
  6. You are a IMG_20180122_210510.jpg A decent mod would have edited your quote and denied all knowledge of the screw up Shame on you @Hoggs Wouldn't of happened if Six had got the mod gig.
  7. oh crap yes I mean right turns and left bends I'm just going to edit that earlier post.... You are a
  8. DISCLAIMER I'm not trained in any way these are just my thoughts and observations 1. Does your headlight work?? wow in some of those darker areas it didn't look like it illuminated the road at all! Maybe adjustment needed? Or maybe my phone just making it look worse than it it 2. Left hand turns, you tend to cut over the centre line of the road you're turning into - try going a bit further forward before turning to ensure you turn into the centre of the lane. 3. Right bends, you seem to drift a bit to the kerb, especially on country roads you want to get over to the centre of the road to increase your visibility of what's coming. 4. General road position seems ok. 5. Pulling over... I think you did so 4 times? The last one was a bit sketchy as there was a car coming the other way which meant you were more of a hindrance stopping where you did. Make sure you don't get lost looking behind so much you don't assess what's ahead 6. A car was pulling out of a side road at one point, as it was safe to do so don't be afraid to cross the central line to make yourself more visible and give yourself as much escape room as possible. 7. I think it was around 3 minutes in there were some lights that had been green for ages and it felt like you sped up approaching them then had to brake a bit harder than needed when they changed (again I'm watching on my phone so open to corrections) 8. Whilst we all do it, make sure you don't stop in the cycle boxes on your test Point 3 I can only hope Hoggs meant left bends. Otherwise on a right hand curve, keeping to the white line sticks your head into opposing traffic. Should be keep to the right of your lane in a left curve so your head isn't in a hedge and visibility. Right curve, keep left so not lean into the oncoming truck and visibility.

In other news, my Nexus 9 is getting traded in this weekend. Fed up of sub par shit performance no matter how many factory resets I do. My sister still uses my old iPad 2 and has no issues with its speed so well bloody done HTC for building a pile of crap. If I buy a new tablet, it's gonna be a Surface I reckon. At least that one is easy.
  10. I'm debating messing with this guy. There's a whole world of GIFs I can use for him. Do it!! Join in the fun. Anyone who deliberatly holds up ambulances and brags about it on twitter deserves some abuse. On it like a car bonnet. No wait that was the bellend cyclist who forgot to brake before hitting my parents car in the 80s.

Yeah I see what you mean. Never held my phone like that before to be honest but I see what you mean. I keep my phone in a lower power mode to extend the battery. To unlock I press the power button and then fingerprint. It's very natural action. Taking it from my back trouser pocket it's normally unlocked and ready to use before I've brought it round into sight. Dirty finger sometimes upsets it in which case the retina scanner unlocks it or last resort I swipe a code. Do you use Bixby much? Or is it just an irritant?

I do my phone one handed as I use my thumb. I'll have to get someone to actually let me have a demo run and see how I get on. My index finger generally sits halfway up the back of the phone.

Thanks for all the advice even though I don't think I am any closer to a decision. I'm seeing all the "leaks" for the S9 and it doesn't look promising for finger prints to be done on the front again. That's one thing I have never liked is the readers on the back but at least the S9 should be more sensible than the S8. When it comes to proper water proof cases, the Pixel 2 and iPhone X don't appear to have them and I really don't trust electrics when water ingress is possible to cause damage, which is true for all mobile devices. Will have to double check my existing rain cover for sizing I guess. I'll probably end up getting myself a decent SIM only plan first and then deciding what phone to buy at this rate. Thanks again guys.
  17. If you ever watch the race broadcast, you will probably want to aim to be at the circuit for 5am.... You might get in before the motogp race starts.
  18. Shark Speed-R helmet, Knox or furygan gloves, furygan leather 2 piece, alpinestar smx boots. Also have 3 piece rst textiles, rst waterproof boots and richa gloves for wet weather.
  19. Given the mental issues are basically trauma based (having an off will cause mental trauma as it's a shock), the only way to beat them is to take them on and get through them. If you don't, you will never beat them. Best of luck. Edit: in fact if you are really struggling to get your head round it even with a decent instructor, I'd really advise looking at seeing someone to talk to about it as you might need either the ability to talk it out or maybe some behaviour retraining. Your local GP surgery is a good place to start for that kind of thing

What I don't get is they only do this to 3 tracks of mine. It would change an à to an r but if I put an a in it merges them back. Weird.

It's possible a lot of my android irritants are Samsung based. The Nexus 9 updates annoyed me as that is a Google branded product. I would expect better of them but then again the Pixel Buds turned out shit so Google does seem to be a bit hit and miss on their devices. I did wonder if it was a something specific thing to my music issues. I certainly don't remember having as many music quirks on my old HTC One M8.

I work in IT and generally end up supporting devices on both iOS and Android. We have the odd Windows phone at a client and Blackberry's have thankfully died off as any BES implementation I inherited was bloody badly set up. Whilst some of my colleagues have shied away from running the latest and greatest, I do run the latest Win 10 and Office across a desktop and laptop as invariably our clients will and I aim to be ahead of their curve so I can spot any weird little issues that the OS's develop. I could survive on the S7 Edge (especially as I sussed out now my issue with the music but I'm not sure I understand why the issue occurred at all still) but I won't lie, I like technology and I like playing with cutting edge. Android face recognition I wouldn't use having reminded myself about it. Really not that secure. I've used Apple devices for 4 years and Android for 4 years. Each have pros and cons and I think I am coming to a point of which niggles annoy me more. My Nexus 9 is close to being shifted, partly due to the issues I have had with it updating and its performance drop off was worse than my old iPad and also, phones are large enough today I don't need a tablet. Trade in the Nexus 9, use that money on a phone....
