  1. sounds like sticky float, clean the pin for the float and check the needle is still there. you can test the floats are moving buy blowing down the fuel line, the float lifts

  5. I know but i disconnected the cable on engine removal, its idling at 1200rpm-1500 so not to bad.

  7. mine came the other day,thanks . also finally found a courier to take the extremely heavy item the poor poor person who receives this
  8. 3.5 miles to and 3.5 miles back no problems, need to adjust the clutch cable tomorrow and adjust throttle cable by a little bit as its about 1200 rpm i think it should be 1500 rpm.
  9. mk1 Honda cg 1979 onwards it could be a grey import. imported in the country around 2007 so dlva sent it of as a 2007 what dose it have one the logbook ?

Hi as you all know i got the r125 running i used liquid moly breaking/running in oil, the bottle for instructions are in german, so does anyone know when to change the oil? 100 miles in of the rebuild then swap to 10w40 yamalube or the full 600 miles? Also at 600 miles do i need to retorque the head back down ? Spoken to a couple of people they have all said different things?
  13. Lesson learnt take more care and double check everything before buying anything. I was close to getting the old tzr back out for the winter lol.

  18. Clear head today no stress checked few of the connectors to notice that some of the wires wasn't connecting! also a prong on the connector was bent! Fixed the problem straight away!!! So happy! 600 miles to run in do i need to re torque the head after 600 miles ?
  19. Update- Turns over still no spark Charged battery Changed regulator/rec Cleaned any earths with sand paper Checked all conectors are connected propperly. No spark from the coil going to replace this and see if that helps.... Loosing hope very quickly Battery turns over slowly :/ loosing hope garage down the road said it wont be looked at till after new year ? Anyone know what it could be thats causing this problem engine light flashes Had lots of people say battery and reg/rec well its not that ?

Thank you for the list of bits i am going to check tonight bits above, unfortantly hes not even the slightest mechanically minded annoyingly, i had the friend who sold the bike to me come over last night to take a look as he wired it up originally before i had it hd lights halo lights etc. we both thought it could be the battery or reg/rec so battery is on charge reg/rec on its way, should be here today. Going to retest the bike later today, if this still dosen't work, then i will run a multimeter over the coil/generator coils check all connectors sensors etc. Thanks for all the info
