  1. A good old East Ham girl, my home town.
  2. You should be able to find something to your liking here https://www.racevisors.co.uk/
  3. 3 points each, looks like a ban unless you can find a sympathetic judge.
  4. Cheap bags are not good and good bags are not cheap. SW Motech or Givi.
  5. I recommend venhill You screw the banjo bolts on to the hose yourself so you can have the lines nice and straight without twists in them So much better in my opinion! I put the banjo's on the calipers and master cylinder first then ran the lines to the banjo's leaving them loose until I was happy with the position then tightened them all up I'll bear that in mind. Edit: Just looked at the Venhill site and it looks like they only list FJRs up to 2012, or do you have to buy all of the individual components (a pain)?
  6. I might go the HEL route when my hoses need replacing. Nice bit of bling.
  7. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324190657110 Great and only a quid, what do I do with it once I have it can't spend it can't eat it. Oh yeah I can stop on it. But I have sixpences I can stop on. We are in grave danger of losing our identity, with people referring to parking lots instead of car parks and many other infiltrations into out language. I wonder if the Americans have adopted any of our words and sayings.
  8. Good to know. Where can I get one to stop on? We used to be able to stop on a sixpence, I have several of those
  9. How big is a dime?
  10. Not with a Corbin seat on you can't
  11. Do you want the real price or the price I told my wife it cost ....... with postage it was £695 I know Corbin are supposed to be the dogs danglies but I don't see 700 quids worth. I have had several seats doctored by Marty Walker at https://smartrrrs.store.buegle.com/index.php/online_purchasing/?k=:6:: He can do anything you want with a seat at a fraction of the price. If you are happy with it that's all that counts. Let us know what you think of it after a few months of riding.
  12. OK I'm sitting down, how much?
  13. As a final follow up and probably a close to this thread, after Wednesdays rain the bike was in need of a good wash, so this morning gave the bike a wash and while I was at it I gave the phone mount a good dowsing with the hose pipe and it still works fine. I now have full confidence that in a bit of, or even a lot of rain the mount should survive.
  14. By way of an update, I met up with a few mates today so got a chance to test the mount in the rain. It was light to moderate rain and the mount performed well and is still working and didn't fry the phone. This is only an initial test and will have to wait until I get caught in a deluge. Watch this space, so far so good.
  15. Is that rectifire, rectumfire or rectifier A night on the curry perhaps?
  16. If anyone wants one of those for free ( plus £5.00 postage ) let me know . I found it to be utterly useless . I've never had a problem with mine, you just have to make sure it's properly seated. Although I tend to use K&N now which have a nut on the end to make life easier.
  17. Space can be a problem with that type, take a look at this, much better. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Three-Leg-63-102-mm-Oil-Filter-Wrench-Fits-3-8-or-1-2-socket-set/324057642576?epid=2288064482&hash=item4b73573650:g:UmcAAOSw5r9eMcIP
  18. You dodged a bullet there, well done. Do get a new bolt as soon as you can.
  19. Correct, by the sounds of it.
  20. Oi, using my jokes? Stick to your day job
  21. This was a while ago so the memory fades but it was a 10W oil can't remember the brand it might have been Silkolene.
  22. So the moral of the story is, don't fart in your trousers
  23. It looks like you set fire to it. Who is the manufacturer?
