  1. Mad is one of the least offensive things I've been called
  2. Different to last year was stated
  3. I have a RST Paragon V jacket that has never leaked even in heavy rain, whereas the Paragon V trousers leaked at the crotch. My Rev-it Poseidon is Gore-Tex and has always kept me dry. The problem with most trousers is the four way cross over seam which is difficult to waterproof. I have a pair of Furygan trousers (non Gor-Tex) that have a gusset in the crotch area instead of the cross over seam and they are waterproof even in heavy rain. So the thing to do is go and look at the construction of the garment.
  4. Opposite to scruffy
  5. What's wrong with dressing smart once in a while
  6. If you stayed upright it seems you already know what to do. It's instinctive.
  7. Nice to see they are on top of things
  8. I've been, I quite like to wander from viewpoint to viewpoint to get a feel for it.
  9. I'll bow out of this now, the truth doesn't seem to go down too well. Sorry for any
  10. You'll have bigger upsets coming your way throughout your life.
  11. If you want to know about precious things being ripped from you, talk to parents that have had children die. It's just a bike.
  12. I never said anyone had been killed but a few posts back someone suggested that after being knocked off they should be backed over and bleed to death. I'm all in favour of the odd broken leg and possibly a couple of arms and even a good kicking, but, death? really?
  13. I agree with all of the sentiments expressed. I still don't think theft should be punishable by death. Where do we stop, hang shoplifters? It's theft.
  14. Whilst I enjoyed seeing them knocked off their scooters, I'm not sure that theft warrants the death penalty.
  15. As an ex BMW owner I now have my patience back
  16. Typical BMW owner, no patience

One way to find out Gordon, for the countries you are not sure about would be to contact the embassy of the relevant country. Just a thought.
  18. Does anyone know where the ride is to?
  19. You're talking to yourself here Goat
  20. This must be the longest 10 minute job in history
  21. Once you have fitted the new battery make sure it is charging when on the bike. It should show 13/14 volts when charging with revs at about 2.5 to 3000 revs.
  22. WD40 or white spirit and scrape with a credit type card. WD40 takes longer than white spirit.
  23. I have it on good authority that God doesn't know much about motorbikes, but if you hand tighten the oil filter and then give it a quarter turn you should be golden. I do have a friend that is a Vicar and he is always willing to perform a service
