Apologies. People aren't being facitous, but we have been down the path of MC, MCC, RC etc numerous times and believe me some of the poster asking needed to be in a club with 1 member. Decide the way you want to go and then research from there.

Its 12 hr shifts for me. 5 week cycle. Both nights and days. I've only worked straight days 8 hrs for maybe 10 years out of 31 and that's including my apprenticeship. I only commute about 10 mile so that's not too bad. Although the traffic at times can be shocking.

You may be right... And I assume many of us had been brought up around bikes and had had some experience prior to attempting to emulate Barry Sheene with not an ounce of training under our belts...lol

We were talking about this the other day. I, and like many on here probably got their first bike and just rode off into the distance. No CBT. Nowt. I'm not saying the pre CBT generation all became fantastic riders but it did make you learn quick....

Back home by early afternoon. Got the re set i needed. Full week of beach, sun and drinking. Feeling it now though. My liver is gently weeping.....lol Anyway. Back to a 64 hour week from tomorrow day shift....

Its lovely is warm gin. Gin Street in piece hall halifax do it every Xmas out of soup vats. Fantastic gear..lol
