  13. do you mean it's got points bill? they're easy! just clean them up like you would a spark plug electrode. feeler guage to set the gap, sorted
  14. ohms not Mohms, depends on the meter. coil should be maybe 20 to 50 ohms, I'm guessing shouldn't be a dead short but certainly shouldn't be thousands of ohms
  15. it's exactly what it says on the tin! a coil, so should have some sort of low resistance, if it's open circuit it's no good also check if it's down to earth edit. make sure you're testing the actual coil though not a relay or solenoid or thermal cut out

  18. sounds like cam to me but hard to say, if you recently changed the oil it could not have got all the way round yet, I'd let it get properly warm and see if it goes away.

  20. in the old days you'd spill beer all over them, never clean the dead flies off etc. it's funny how they seemed to be more waterproof!

  22. I live in a 3 bed detached house on my own I put my kit wherever i feel like at the time! normally either in the cupboard under the stairs or the smallest bedroom.
