    Kmh clocks

I looked at converter but the needle would hardly move round at all, 100mph would be where 100 kph is now! so didn't bother. if you changed the clocks would you have to change the drive unit too?
  4. I think it depends on the bike and how you ride. I think gg would be fine in your bike/how you say you ride. I had hh sintered in the blade and liked them, apart from the bloody hissing noise but they had less feel than standard pads.
  5. I'll be on the pop in hull so will susie
  6. I think up to 2004 fazer thou is carbs. That's what I'd go for! differences, slightly higher, slightly longer and a lot more go better headlights too I think, that's about it.
  7. I don't agree with a word PG said! I have ridden bandits and fazers both 600/650. 1200/1250 bandits and 600/1000 fazers. I was very very close to buying a brand new bandit 1250 GT, they're good bikes and a hell of a lot of bike for the money. however, the fazers, in my opinion, are better in every way! The 1250 has closed the gap on the fazer 1000, but the yam is still better braked and better handling! I don't like the looks of the new FZ1 though! How about a honda CB1000GT ? similar to bandit but a bit dearer! but honda quality!
  8. I'll join in with the too much info I had it done under local, worst part was the pulling and tying of the tube! I drove to wales straight after!, was a bit sore for maybe 2 days after but nothing serious.
  9. Wolfie!!! you've got to come! pm me and tell me what problem is/if there's anything i can do
  10. Hello Simon, welcome to TMBF, Stick a post in the newbies section and say hello Myself and 2 mates rode down to torrevieja and back a couple of years ago. we went dover calais, and stuck to motorways. stopped twice overnight on the way there and twice on the way back. works out at 500 miles a day if you stop in the right places. Tolls are expensive! I would highly recomend you cross the Milau viaduct!, awesome! keep your eye on your petrol!! not that many services in some parts. hope you enjoy it, I did. anything I can help with let me know
  11. we stayed in the same place, more changes made
  12. buying a helmet from a car boot sale is not a good idea!!! That's it! Simple!. There is, I suppose , about a million to one chance of getting a really safe bargain but it's highly unlikely. Bill, all you can do is give advice, if he chooses to ignore you then so be it. Anymore off-topic or derogatory replies to this and I will lock the topic! and censor the poster! Nanny Rennie
  13. probably the drive or the cable, although they usually fail the opposite way and read slow.
  14. clunking and slight movement when engaging first gear is normal on a lot of bikes, especially when it's been stood a while.
  15. susie and I have been known to do the odd song! after a few drinkies 1 of us thinks they're Elvis! Thank you very much!
