  1. However, you might find it easier to 'rock' the bike in 2nd.
  2. Again - conjecture not based on fact. This is the whole problem with the referendum - who is going to sit and read through the huge pile of paperwork which details how the EU operates, the controls, the 'rules', the governance and the oversight that the Euro MPs have as their right? What we constantly get is 'snippets' taken out of context and rumour, which has no basis in fact! Some 'stuff' is fairly easy (only takes a few hours reading) to find the answers and the payment in/out is one such point - Check out the financial governance and controls (including independant annual audits) that exist and statements such as 'nobody signs for payments' can be seen to be totally inaccurate! Rant over.
  3. OK it is not a 'tube' sation but you can access the London Underground from it without having to cahnge / buy another ticket: West Wickham railway station serves West Wickham in the London Borough of Bromley. It is located in south east London and is in Travelcard Zone 5. The station is operated by Southeastern and is served by Southeastern Hayes line trains.
  4. Absolutely true! (From a skint thin very good looking young (at heart) bloke)
  5. Needs a complete strip - new seal - rebuild.
  6. Tha daily Star advises that staying in can increase the bust size of young ladies!
  7. Ding did not win! Theres a factual statement for all to argue about.
  8. Not sure with this model but what about the bottom gasket on the cylinder? Haynes (or 'G@@gle') should give you a drawing of the oilways and coolant water channels - Anywhere there is a seal / gasket where these are both present could be the cause.
  9. West Wickham?
  10. However, I would use gasket paper (thick greasproof paper). Method (whatever material you use): 1. Clean the gasket face on the cover. 2. Lay the material on a flat surface. 3. Apply a smear of oil to the mating surface (gasket face) on the cover. 4. Place (carefully) face down onto the material - quick press and lift vertically up. The material should now have an 'impression' of the shape for the gasket. 5. Cut out carefully with craft knife or sharp scissors. One new Gasket! Done this loads of times with no leaks after fitting.
  11. You call what you do 'work'? Working is 'doing the weekend jobs' for t'missus.
  12. It ALWAYS rains on a Bank Holiday in England!
  13. eating fewer beans helps that problem as well....................................oops you meant the bike back firing Beans! Beans! The musical fruit! The more you eat the more you toot! The more you toot, the better you feel. So, eat baked beans at every meal. Or: Beans, Beans, they're good for the heart. The more you eat, the more you fart. The more you fart, the better you feel, So eat your beans at every meal!
  14. Welcome back Alan! Feel free to call round one evening (we have a spare room) and get to look at my Rocket III You staying in UK now? Coming to t'rally?
  15. Plenty of time left yet for summer to arrive.
  16. As to 2) - Deffo normal - Try it with the clutch pulled in and don't move the couch and see if that makes a difference.
  17. Not me ossifer! Spotted Tango ahead of a line of about 5 cars and my right wrist sort of just twisted back somehow - Next thing I know we are together and doing about the NSL ( ). NB. The Rocket is capable of doing wheelies but.....
  18. If (and I do mean if), I set up the 2017 challenge, I'll take this on board and provide a 'mix' of tags. This year's (Castles) was done just to be different. The main object being to get as many (if not all) the 'biker roads' with at least one tag in the immediate area. This is easier with Cafes but it would not be tht interesting to have the same ones time after time - We all have our favourites and can visit them as/when we like. I have a 'standby list' with a few 'oddities' on good routes which I will use (anyone into canals; converted prisons; haunted houses and prize winning sheds?). If you (or anyone) has a particular suggestion, please either email or send me a PM.
  19. If I ever wake up, what will I remember?
  20. Soft faced mallet and patience!
  21. There are quite a few tags within a reasonable ride-out distance. Well done Stu!
