  1. And what a nice evening it was! Loads of Bikes out and even t'missus (and Dylan) arrived for a look-see.
  2. And..........
  3. Main earth would be the first thing I'd check with that many symptoms. Battery voltage comes a (very) close second. Secondary earths are 3rd in line. Last (but not least) - connections in the loom. NB. Have you had the bike get VERY wet recently?
  4. No text - So I guess this will be moved!
  5. Box cable to router move is 'simples'.
  6. or, maybe not! deleted.
  7. This sounds like the start of an amazing blog of watching his collapse into fatherhood Think I'm feeling awfully sorry for your brother MW.. I can't even imagine having sproglets! Sounds like he's in for a fun few YEARS! Fixed it for you!
  8. Done! - You have your requested 'number' as '46'. Good hunting.
  9. The 'Groups' are simply that - groups of 'tags' more or less grouped in the same geographical area. If you follow the link to the map, all the tags (apart from the Pubs which are your choice as to where you go for them) are listed in groups and identified by different coloured 'pins' on the map. You score 10 points per tag and a 'bonus' of 50 points when you complete a 'group' - So each 'group' (including Pubs) is worth 150 points. Simples!
  10. I've bought bearings from them before - Great prices and perfect fit (XS750).
  11. Try the chain.
  12. Either strap the bicycle wheel down properley or, better yet, remove it completely!
  13. There is no 'For Sale' or 'Wanted' in the title (as per the 'red rules' above)!
  14. Decided on the Asus E403 (as the best 'compromise' between a Tablet (runing Windows 10) and a Laptop). Cheap enough to 'throw away' in about 3-years time. Will do what I need. Lightweight. And at £217 (free postage) it is definitely affordable - PC World price is £229.99. Thank you for all your input - especially about storage options.
  15. The two different Pub tags in question are: The Horseshoe The Three Tuns We would accept three Horseshoes as the Horseshoe but not three Tuns as having anything to do with it!
  16. OK. I have an old laptop which is running ME (don't laugh). Upgrade to Windows 10 is not possible and, the battery only lasts for about an hour these days. So... Time for a new laptop - I need one that will run Windows 10, I also need the longest battery life I can get. the use of the laptop will be (primarily) as a Navigational Plotter (it will be used to run the Nuno Plotter). Built in GPS would be a bonus. Touch screen technology is acceptable (but not prefered). Needs to have wireless connectivity as well as a LAN port. i have an external DVD writer so don't need that. needs to be fast 'paging' and have reasonable RAM. HDD around 1TByte would be good. Currently considering a Toshiba. Options please (but keep the price reasonable).
  17. I notice that I cannot seem to drink as much in one go as I used to. However, I do not get hangovers these days either.
  18. Botox! Got the 'when are you going to....' from t,missus. Can't attend on 12th (Doms Finals Night) but currently OK for the 19th (weather permiting).
  19. I'll have to say 3 'Hail Mary's' on Sunday! (or just go out on t'bike if the weather is good)).
  20. I notice you have another thread on 'idling' issues - there is a very good chance these are related. You need to set up your carb correctly (mixture and idle) for the bike to perform properly.
  21. I notice you have another thread on 'idling' issues (and 'wet' plug) - there is a very good chance these are related. You need to set up your carb correctly (mixture and idle) for the bike to perform properly.
  22. If the 120 battery is 'flat', then it may try to draw too much current from the charger - 'Good' chargers have a current limiter built in which will prevent this and, as previously stated, the charging time is increased.
  23. Yes but..... If I was in the queue of cars to the rear of the Audi, I would not have been impressed! However, it certainly has made my day - I am still grinning as I type this!
  24. The 'vote' is worrying some of the bigger companies. The one I work for (I am not allowed to state who) have issued a letter to all employees stating the negative impact leaving the EU would have. I can only assume, this tactic is being employed by other big companies who have offices in both UK and other countries within Europe. Yes I can understand some (but not all) the negatives as well as some (but again, not all) of the positives. What is apparant though is that the 'change' if we do leave will not be transparent or trivial - it will have a massive effect which will take years to recover from. Will we be better off 'out' - I don't know but I do know, life/work/costs for the British people will suffer (initially - for what period???) and if leaving 'tips the balance' for the 'Scottish Vote', that will be another semi-crisis. Staying in - will this benifit? Again, no real idea but, at least we will still have a chance to improve things. Worried - yes! Concerned - Yes! Frightened - No! As others have said - There is an awful lot of 'believable' bullsh!t being issued, by the press, polititions and others. How do you descern what is true - ???? End of the day - it is YOUR choice. Make it count!
