  1. That's good news Tony, all the best for you new position.
  2. In my opinion FIFA should not be involved. The Poppy is neither a religious symbol or a political symbol. It should be down to the individual player to wear or not wear. No one should be forced/pressured into wearing one and likewise if someone wishes to wear one they should not be penalised. The individuals choice.
  3. or sell them on ebay to fund the repairs.
  4. That explains why they are to stop giving Nectar points.

HTH The first part makes reference to a personal injury claim where she has just got paid out on a personal injury ... could that be it? She was a passenger in a car! Spose that's possible. As far as the insurance companies look at things, she has made a claim on someone's insurance. Doesn't seem right though

  9. The driver coming towards me this morning who decided it was OK to pass the parked cars on his / her side as the bike will give way and pull into the side so I can get past. WRONG. The bike stopped but maintained position. The car then had to stop and pull half into a gap so I could continue, I then went past shaking my head.

  12. I think Stu and XTreme are having a bit of banter.
  13. If you are going to try the engine running method you need to have the rear brake on. Just holding against a wall will either stall the engine or allow the rear to spin. if you have a centre stand you could start the engine and in gear repeatedly stamp on the brake to try and release the clutch. not tried this on any bikes so i accept NO responcibily if it goes t**s up. Have had to do this in the past with cars though. but they did not have a centre stand.

  18. Think it is Nokia at fault. I had a Nokia X6. would pair with the Bluetooth in my car but not with OH car. Checking the "issues" on the Fiat Bluetooth it listed most of the Nokia phones as either non compatible or restricted functionality.
  19. My Gore-Tex Daytona boots are waterproof but weren't cheap. Look for boots with Gore-Tex, there are other membranes available, liners. RST have had good reviews on here.
  20. Have you checked that there is a spark at the plug?
  21. I have the Adventure trousers, bit more expensive than Paragon, but never had these leak. I wear them over normal trousers for the commute into work. Bought with this in mind so wore normal works trousers when trying on. Thicker stuff jeans etc are too bulky for me. They do run pretty warm in the summer and to get the best out of the vents you need to remove the waterproof lining! Just need to get the matching jacket now.
