1. When I met the guy selling what is now my bike, we met in the forecourt of a BP garage. When we rocked up he apologised for making us meet him there but he was a bit wary of giving people his home address. I did pick the bike up from the address stated on the V5 a couple days later (as he realised I wasn't a scammy bast*rd at that point!)
2. OH WE MIGHT, MIGHT WE? Yeah alright seems a good idea!
3. Sounds like standard Six30 weekend attire to me
4. What actually happened Ginneth was that I *totally* saw you all in the car park standing around, and I thought to myself, ooh I will have a nice little blast down this road see where it goes whilst that lot are gassing about. Totally didn't just miss 15 bikers and start to wonder where the hell everyone was after I have been going along for 15 minutes. Was a great ride though
5. Pictures of the decimation? The delightful insert also says GLASS WINDOW which should have been a clue
6. It would also have been so much easier if I was born with all the knowledge I would ever need to get through life, but sadly that isn't how it works. The way we learn is through teaching and mistakes.
7. My China office, who sent a glass topped box in a plastic bag to us. Needless to say it did not make it.
8. ugh that roundabout looks awful. Glad you're ok beans
9. Mike probably just needs a biscuit Also the most important piece of advice is do these things for you not others. If you enjoy doing it that's awesome, if other people enjoy it that's a bonus
10. Great now I'm going to be singing the bloody theme song for the rest of the day fun house!it's a whole lotta fun, prizes to be won! use your body and your brain if you wanna win the game!
11. This is true with most things. There's a mini roundabout on my commute I used to dread as I could barely get round it. Now I wonder how on earth I managed to get that wide on it!
12. Yeah because we're told if we let go we'll get a smack
13. I found an awesome 90's website with the info and original Honda leaflet http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/news/jordan.html Apparently they would match the bike number to the number of the car (so I found someone who had bike 69 as he had car 69 and probably giggled the entire time)
14. Hoggfather took me out as soon as I could touch the pegs, was loads of fun Glad they're enjoying it!
15. Also remember if you go by bike take your number as it's a challenge tag
16. I agree, would have thought bare minimum hauled up in front of the stewards
17. meh it was the only one I could find. Although on closer inspection, the tank decal looks different (I didn't zoom in on OPs pic at first) so maybe the ones I saw were dealer specials based on it as the buy a car get a bike thing seems to be just for the EJ ones.
18. Hello! I love these bikes, and as such have spend a while hunting them down - I've seen quite a few on ebay.. not HUGE value I think they were generally between £1500 - £2000. There's one just sold in Dublin for £1600 https://www.adverts.ie/car/motorbikes/honda/honda-hornet-600cc-1998-jordan-f1-colours/3679087 I am unsure if anyone made "replicas" all the ones I saw were listed as limited edition and the age was right for them... Probably not what you were hoping to hear and I could be wrong, things are only ever worth as much as people are willing to pay!
19. wash your mouth out
20. oh dear... Well your insurance is void as you were riding illegally and you could be subjected to fines and points. So no pay out. I suggest sucking this one up hoping you don't get into more trouble and retaking your CBT before you get another bike.
21. Where's Via he always wins this game...
22. Yes, but people get distracted very easily on the internet
23. He had a race team TTC that did road racing. Was often seen at various races and always had time for an interview. Seemed a top bloke really sad what he was going through in private
24. Don't blame me! I didn't know Proper pretentious is Groucho at Tower Bridge. Awful staff, ok food but ridiculously over priced.
25. I found the forum autocorrect.... so this thread now makes no sense... so in line with the rest of them
