JRH also without work getting in the way grabs another few and puts him in joint 3rd. xMachina gets on board the challenge train and rockets up to 4th currently! Charlie_580 makes me happy I took time out to do some Northern Ireland tags and gets 20 points and a round of applause!!! gogs01 FIRST TAG EVER FOR HIM!! Couple of extra tags for JesterPilgrim and slowlycatchymonkey (rocking that snowsuit!!) shows off getting a huge haul and now tying in 3rd! As usual JRH gets the first tag of the year – although to be fair he has only told me this 8 times so far. You don’t get any bonus points for that but you can have a round of applause. GoG gets to enjoy finding tags rather then planning this year and has got off to a storming start! Pubs! Regional Tags! go out get more road experience. Keep general bike skills fresh, it's the same way of changing gears on any sized (manual) bike. Also 125s are fun so go enjoy it

Short answer is a CBT only let's you ride a 125. It's restricted by engine size not power (like an A1 license) so you must get a 125.

I'm super late to this but bad luck on "doing a Via" (that made me chuckle )glad the gear held up and you're mainly ok. Also great reason to but a new lid (which I saw in another thread - nice!) If you're going to have a tumble probably a good idea to do it on the test with some nice helpful bikers around than on the road with cagers who'll honk at you for being in the way though.

Hello ! bikes are great but if you're commuting in winter get decent warm and waterproof gear! The first thing you'll need to do is a CBT get this booked up make sure you like it.. then if (when) you do you can do the DAS. Id recommend doing the CBT on a geared bike (you'll need to request this when you book) as gears are not a natural thing to pick up so some instruction will be helpful. Good luck keep us updated

Yup still get a bit nervous at times! it's normal. Take it easy don't get pushed into going faster than you feel comfortable with. Also remember you're invisible on a bike so expect people to try kill you. This isn't meant to put you off just give people space and anticipate people doing dumb stuff because it's then less of a shock when they do it and you're prepared
