    The point a lot of people were trying to make is that it is very difficult to assess the internal damage to the styrofoam padding. Whilst it may look OK if the padding has full compressed then if you have another off and smack your head on the now not soft side of the lid it's going to be bad.

    ooh.. what to do, what to do? erm.. how about, not going to these places.. or is that too complicated? and if in the future.. more cities are added.. then avoid them too. if this is applied nationwide at some point.. then, reconsider the options.     Sounds like you may be getting a bit of target fixation here? If you look at the kerb you're going to go straight towards them. You need to be looking down the road you are turning into and you should find you naturally then turn the bike round. It happens to us all - I found myself looking at a postbox in a hedge the other day before having to shout at myself that I needed to be going right and to look where I wanted to go good luck for the next one!

    there are sections of the retail center car park which frankly no body uses due to their location.. I use them to park my Van and regularly take up two spaces ...nothin ever said.. my point bein .. there are times and places where you can do this and its no big deal. I think I just really hate this guy because he was on Radio 2 the other day and he was a top rate knobhead.

    I don't blame him for doing this ,there are far to many of the ignorant couldn't care less brigade that just open their doors and ding your car then just fook off. Then get one of those ugly citroen cactus things that have door protectors. If you love your precious car so much get the bus to the shops so the nasty world won't hurt it.

    OI OI What's going on here! Yeah mine was a HUGE backfire that is probably due to gunky carbs so I have been putting a capful of redex in with every fill up - seems to have sorted it out. I haven't had any ongoing issues with it recently (touches all the wood in the room) It also did once randomly die... but it started again the next day and never did it again (touch wood) so god knows what happened there. Sorry probably not much help

Luckily my commute isn't long enough to really kill my hands. And I don't think guards would fit on my bike Tempted by heated gloves but my cash flow has taken a few knocks recently
