  1. You're right.. I really should have asked permission before posting pictures of him online
  2. Actual photograph of a GS rider http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MVQtGTqNUlg/T-JWSO4PP_I/AAAAAAAAAKU/c_yjwNiVRvQ/s1600/Gold-Homer.png
  3. Us bikers don't, it's just those poncy BMW riders that do
  4. Hey Chris! It's probably worth starting a new thread for questions as otherwise they get lost in the general wibble! (Pitstop is probably the best place for that)
  5. That was a good road!
  6. only if you can keep up I think we both know I wouldn't be able to
  7. The only problem with that place is it can be cliquey. If you don't ride a 1300 BMW some of them don't have the time of day to chat. Some of the old timers have a good story to tell though. bloody bmw riders, all stuck up ar*eholes (apart from the ones on here obviously ) love your bike though (and Stu I guess you're just about good enough for me to hang out with )
  8. pft my last was was done with actual paint on green paper
  9. oh those mirrors do look good... I'll be interested to see how they hold up over time so update in six months please, I am so demanding I know
  10. Thought you had in mind a special edition or something to class as "bloody expensive". Because £380 [the dearest one I have found in google search] seems a reasonable price for what it is. Oh I meant the replacement cheek pads are expensive (around 50 quid)
  11. particular what? shoei? yeah the GT Air...
  12. please tell me you posted that reveiw on the site you got it from as well
  13. pretty sure shoei do this as the replacement cheek pad sizes are in depth size only. and are bloody expensive for the gt air
  14. I think it's all been covered but I'd just add be aware of where cars blind spots are and don't get stuck in them. if there's not room ahead to clear the blindspot or you don't have enough speed to clear it quickly I'd advise dropping back because people don't look properly and will squish you.
  15. I use motul 5100 too... and not just because it has a green bike on the front
  16. merry happy joyus new year are the 2017 tags up yet
  17. I'd say just make sure you do your pre ride checks throughly and make sure you check everything is tight that should be tight before trips! safe riding let us know how you get on with it
  18. take it nice amd easy reckon you'll be fine. most drivers in town are quite aware of bikes it's the other scooter riders you'll need to be extra aware of most of them are delivery people with strict time frames and a massive lack of self preservation
  19. Which is all well and good if the instructor knows how to use a Motorway properly. My brother in law is an instructor and he has not got a clue and most instructors I have spoken to have very little idea of how to use a motorway properly just stay in the middle Lane
  20. ooooh! good luck slow speed clutch control will come with practise no probs keep us updated
  21. well. we had plans to do a few but we had sat nav issues which took us completely the wrong way after Hadleigh castle so just the one today http://i.imgur.com/3nalOZo.jpg
