  1. A2 would be good to go for and you could upgrade in 2 years to get to a full Cat A!

That's what I was thinking, as DAS is 24 so that's out. Just wondering if 6 months or so is enough to be proficient and confident?

I think so, you'll find the control of a bigger bike much easier and harder to stall. A big bike wants to move, and will take off nicely on the clutch whereas125s need some encouragement.

  2. The instructor here sounds like a total twat, confidence will come more with practice and it wont take you long to pick it up with someone behind you who actually encourages you! My CBT I had a shouty fella, it doesn't help at all and I felt similar on a lesser scale. As soon as I had my own freedom and could ride alone I found it much better, don't get hung up on mistakes everyone makes them - even people who've been riding 20+ years.

  3. I'll pay the whopping costs shortly by PayPal, then start getting excited.

First step is sourcing a small tent - my current one is definitely not motorbike friendly!

How many people are likely to be going? Actual confirmed list of attendees in post 1 seems light compared to the number of replies in this thread!

When TOGS pull their finger out you can probably add 5-6 more, plus there's still 5 months to go quite a few more will book on before the time comes :D.

My finger is staying right where it is...

That is a perfect sentence.. surely nothing rude can be added to it.

Well, are you coming or not? And will it be on a bike?
