  1. I'll pay the whopping costs shortly by PayPal, then start getting excited.

First step is sourcing a small tent - my current one is definitely not motorbike friendly!

How many people are likely to be going? Actual confirmed list of attendees in post 1 seems light compared to the number of replies in this thread!

When TOGS pull their finger out you can probably add 5-6 more, plus there's still 5 months to go quite a few more will book on before the time comes :D.

  2. Found myself sitting at about 80 on the way into work, similar to how I am in the car. Although when it's raining I'm doing closer to 50-60 , I really hate the rain/wet conditions.

  3. Hi Beefy , if that's what you doing a PC would help for mapping and do the Clean air mod before the Dyno , that doesn't cost anything :thumb:

    Edit: didn't read properly.

Yeah a PC is out of the question £350  that's more than the system I'm buying

  4. Plan of action sorted, going for a full stainless system. Spoke to a new-ish garage, local that had been recommended quite highly, showed me around the place and everything he had going on. Couple of hours labour to fit the exhaust(providing the studs don't snap) when I get it, he'll even see if he can source the same one cheaper AND he will throw it on the dyno for free after and get me a power reading 8-).

With me changing the whole system, it's a like for like so I wont need a power commander will I? He's going to tune it a bit on the dyno and get it running leaner for me, says it's better for on the road.

  5. Contact them and ask if it's road legal........If it's not stamped "off road use only" you're most likely ok..... 8-)

Says they are here with baffle

Ah not for the 230 one :( only the ones with the *.

    However I'm sure I can manage with a 300mm :D

  6. I was thinking about doing something like that Bob, but it'll eventually fail again and I plan on keeping this one for a while :). So if I'm doing the end can anyway I may as well get a full system and save me having to sort it out in 6 months time :).

  7. Don't Delkevic do just headers for your bike?.......then you can stick whichever end can you like on it...... 8-)

They do but its expensive to do it that way, bit over my budget! 200 for the headers and 200 for the exhaust I want. Its 310 for the set from delkevic, Ive also gotta pay someone else to fit it and hope they don't snap the studs as I defo would end up snapping them

  8. Could you bodge it up with a bit of exhaust bandage, fire gum and beer cans until an eBay special turns up?

If you're going to the hassle of taking it off to be welded, you might as well pop something nicer on.

I was gonna do so with some RTV however if it could be welded in situ I might get away with £20-£30 rather than doubling what I was going to pay for the end can :(.

  9. stainless full race system with power commander all set up on a dyno ....there is no other way

Its hard to see what the material around it is like! if its solid enough then a good welder would be able to sort it for you although I suspect the system will need to come off to get to it properly!

 it would only be stainless like for like replacement I can just about afford that but it means going delkevic and I didn't want their end can.

  10. Ive developed a hole in my exhaust, it appears to be an attempted patch up that has now failed. Pic below, its on the bottom where the down pipes come together. Any advice on if it can be welded and how much I can expect to pay? I know I can get some stainless pipes but if I can get it patched cheap I'd rather do that for now. I wouldn't be changing any header pipes myself after my track record .

  11. I'll be in attendance to those when I can Goody :thumb:.

After you've done your refresher I'd advise just ride as much as possible, you'll always be wary of your mistakes for the first accident. However you'll not make the same mistake, you'll be a safer rider and the confidence will come back the more you get out on the bike :D. That's how it worked for me anyway after grabbing too much front on the 125 in greasy conditions, took me a while but I feel ok now :).
