  1. I second that. The website's pretty good and there's a shop in northampton that I use. They have a list of the stores on the website with locations. Knowledgeable, helpful staff, etc.
  2. Bit far for me mate, but hope you have a fab day.
  3. Have you caught the "Meetups" bug? Seems that way!
  4. Ooh! Ooh! I'll come! And I even know where the venue is! Are we talking Saturday or Sunday? Either's fine for me
  5. I have some photos, but none of Phil! Caught a cheeky one of everyone leaning on the fence though http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq247/mojo_banana/DSC00872.jpg
  6. can I come? Seeing as I missed out (stupidly) on Hunstanton, could do with a run out. Can't stay out all day (not fair on dog) but Roy, could meet up with you to ride up?
  7. Even WITH muffs.... I knew I done the right thing. Think I would have turned into a flesh coloured icicle under layers of outer clothing. I really don't do cold well, I should know this by now
  8. Trouble is with regions and a drop-down box is that I'm not sure which region I am... midlands or east anglia. Could you put a big list of counties? I know what county I'm in
  9. http://www.clubpromoto.co.uk have up to size 50 which I think is a 14 on their website. If you type '916' into the password box on the first page then you get a discount as well. Overnight delivery is free on items over £100 and they're on the phone for any enquiries.
  10. Hi all, just wondered if anyone could help. I've a budget to get myself a bike jacket (under £200) and on Saturday I'm going to see a bike (yay!). I've looked locally and have found one I like, but no harm in looking more. Does anyone know of any shops around the north-east corner of the M25, between the M1 and Sevenoaks?! I'll be travelling between Milton Keynes and Sevenoaks on Saturday (to see the bike before buying) so thought we could make a day of it and do a little shopping. I need a shop that has a ladies' section, for that is what I am and although I've always thought I'd end up with a men's jacket because I'm 5'10" (long arms) and not exactly slight, the few ladies' jackets I've tried on have fitted quite well really. I'd prefer a longer textile jacket, waterproof if poss although I know I won't be going out in the rain on purpose. Main concern is protection, obv.! I have a helmet and a pair of gloves, boots will come after jacket! Thanks in advance
  11. Brilliant, thanks! Going to take plenty more reads before my next test. Very useful stuff. Do you have anything on the show me/tell me part? I tend to freeze up a bit on this and can usually answer, but not brilliantly.
